Customer Review: Good memory card for Sony still cameras...

I took a chance and picked this memory stick card up for use with a Sony WX1 still camera. I was a little concerned because of the "video" label, but the price was very attractive, and my rationale was that read and write speeds seem to be critical now because of HD video capabilities of these newest still cameras, so if this card is good enough for that application, it's good enough for quickly recording a series of still pics.
In actual usage, it's more than adequate in the WX1 video (which records at 720p). Note that current Sony still cams are dual-memory SDHC compatible, so that opens up the memory selection to a much wider range of low-cost Class-6 speed options. But, if you're stuck with (or want) to stick with Sony Memory Stick media, this card is an economical option from a reputable brand.
