It works with no issues on 5 different PCMCIA/Cardbus slots I've tried in combination with at least 8 different CF cards from various manufacturers. I also have the non-Ultra blue/red version of this adaptor, and I couldn't tell any difference between the two other than the label and part number (hence on 4 stars due to the higher cost of this Ultra version).Customer Review: Slow but works on Solaris

Yes, this CF reader is a bit slow and hogs CPU but it saved me from buying another 1GB CF card when I was on vacation and ran out of space. It works on (Open)Solaris just fine - plug it into the PC card slot and a window will pop up showing all the photos stored on the card inserted into the reader.Customer Review: Hey, it works!
