When I read 5-in-one, I was pretty surprise to see how tiny this thing is. All of my electronics ( cell phone, camera, Palm Pilot) use SD and micro-SD cards, so I was really just looking for a small reader who could handle those, and I found one who could handle even more.
Its is really fast, I have had it for a month and I have no problems at all with it
PROS
1) Very fast - works great with Windows XP. (no drivers to download)
2) Very portable - has a light indicator to let you know when it is plugged in and working.
3) Affordable - I purchased it in Bestbuy and it was pretty cheap!
CONS
1) Cheap protector flap - The flap that coveres the SD/MiniSD..etc slot is pretty flimsy. I am thinking of ripping it off as when it is not in use, it really does close all the way.
2) Cap can be easily lost - The cap can be lost easily as it is not connected to the reader, but on the flip-side, it can click-on to the back of the reader securely. (IT also has a place to add on your own landyard or keyring)
DO REMEMBER: This is just a card reader...you must supply your own cards for this little gadget to work!

I'm not really sure where to start this review. I bought it in early February, because I needed a way to transfer my pictures from my camera to my computer. I looked online for a camera-to-computer cord, but since this was a little cheaper, and supposedly a faster transfer, I decided to give it a try. The product certainly lived up to it's claims. Picture transfer is really quite fast. A picture transfers over in less than a second, with a simple "drag and drop" and I transferred around 200 pictures at once in no time, it couldn't have taken more than 20 seconds.
I also love the added versatility of this product. Using it with your SD *or whatever particular card you have* you can essentially use it as a flash drive. I've used it to transfer pictures from my camera, and word documents from computer to computer. The small size allows me to carry it around with me in my camera case, and the inexpensive -downright cheap- price of $9.99 makes it a great bargain.

This is an awesome card reader. I have a micro SD card that I use for my phone (LG VX8300), and I was trying to put mp3's and video files on it, and didn't have any luck with a previous card reader. My computer is also pretty old (Dell Dimension 4100), has Windows ME, plus it has USB 1.1. I thought these would all be a problem, but not at all. Just followed all the instructions carefully, and viola, it works! I've been able to put all my favorite mp3's, full length movies, and tv shows on my 1gb micro Sd card on my phone. I will say that although it said you don't need a driver for Windows ME, my PC prompted me to insert a disc for the driver, so I did (with the included CD), and it worked perfectly. Also, it says that USB 2.0 is required (but that it's backwards compatible with 1.1); but all I have is USB 1.1 and it works great. Love this card reader.Customer Review: It does what it was desinged for.

I bought this to go with the transflash card for my cell phone. Works great..I can easily and quickly load/unload pics and mp3's and other files to and from my transflash. At work I can plug it in directly, at home I have to use the included short adaptor cable for the USB connection. Since it is a card reader, it is not meant to be used as a true thumb or jump drive. Stick your card in, transfer your files, and unplug it. I can see if you leave it sitting there for an extended period of time with the cards in it, the rubber cover will stop closing well or at all.
I've had no problems with my card sticking, falling out, not reading. I'm very happy with it.

I got one of these so I had something that could easily travel with me, and load photos from my camera onto any computer necessary (instead of having one of the multi-readers that sits on your desktop and isn't really pocketable). It works like a champ (caveat: I've only used the SD slot as that's what my camera takes). True, the little rubber cover is not very secured in the slots, but I've have this reader for about a year now and it's yet to fall off or bend to the point where it doesn't protect the slots.
For those who want to put their cards in and leave them there to use as a portable drive... just go buy a portable USB memory stick.
