Digital Cameras Photo Reviews of SanDisk SDCFH-004G-A11 4GB 30MB/s ULTRA CF Card (US Retail Package)

Customer Review: More than enough space, very fast, good price
Summary: 5 Stars

Actually the title pretty much sums it up. I've had it for a few months now now and its been very reliable so far. Compared to the $20-$30 some dollars that local stores wanted for smaller slower cards, buying this on Amazon was an excellent deal as well.

The only complaint I might have is that 4gb is almost too much. I never find myself on a shoot where I will need that much space. If I fall into a bout of laziness though, and don't dump my images straight away, they extra space allows them to accumulate. Having to go through later and keyword and organize 4Gb worth of photos is just no fun at all.

(Currently using this card in an Olympus E-420)

Customer Review: Too satisfied
Summary: 5 Stars

I bought this memory card to use it with a Canon Rebel XTi. I think that this size is the perfect size: more would take too much time to copy on HDD, less would mean fewer pictures.
I haven't noticed any speed problems, the combination of the camera and the card assures the enough number of photos on the running mode.
The problem that I have right now is that I need space to download the photos from the card. Also, it MUST be used with an usb card reader 2.0 because using an 1.1 will take alot of time for the copying.

Customer Review: Very, very fast
Summary: 5 Stars

We use Nikon D200s in my small photographic company, this card improves their performance quite a bit. When you trigger off a long burst it will fire five times a second for about 22 frames before pausing. This is an improvement over the slower cards we had been using which would pause afer about 15 frames.
When you download the card into your computer you will notice a speed increase too.
If you are new to photography please take note- Don't buy the biggest card you can afford, buy the fastest.

Customer Review: So Far, So Good
Summary: 5 Stars

Can't complain so far. Ordered on Jun 27, free shipping, and received Jul 2. I ordered mine through Amazon, but I notice some are sold through JoWow (cheaper, but with shipping added). I don't know if this might explain some of the different experiences. Also, there are a lot of fakes out there. Using an Olympus E-510, I've never counted how many shots I can take at one time, but I don't really expect it to keep up with 8Mb+ SHQ JPeg files forever. :)

Customer Review: Works great
Summary: 5 Stars

I have bought a couple cheap ones and there is always an issue. The SanDisk is a little more expensive but completely worth it. I needed a decent sized card and on the quick, since there was an event coming up that I was playing unofficial photographer for. This card came in a couple days before, threw the card in, went to the event, took over 200 shots, and the card was a champ. No issues with formatting, viewing, uploading, or any of that.
