Digital Cameras Photo Reviews of SanDisk ImageMate 12-in-1 USB 2.0 Flash Memory Card Reader SDDR-89-A15

Customer Review: WOW! It works with Windows XP and Mac Mini
Summary: 5 Stars

This looked too good to be true, but IT WORKS! I can plug it into my Windows XP laptop or my Mac Mini and it works like a charm. As soon as I plug in a Mini-SD or whatever, it activates on the computer and allows you to copy whatever pictures you want. When friends are over, I use it to get pictures of of there cameras. I ask them to take out the media they use and plug it into this device, and it helps me upload the pictures I want. It really works. No docking stations needed anymore. No proprietary Kodak or Sony softwares needed anymore.

Customer Review: A Versatile & Affordable Card Reader For Everyone!
Summary: 5 Stars

I needed to get an all in one USB quality card reader to take with me when I'm out shooting that could read various cards. Something that wasn't too cheap in the build, but something that wasn't overly-priced as well. I found this card reader to meet all the basic requirements that I had and I'm quite pleased with it.

If you're looking for an affordable & reliable all in one USB card reader that can take a little bit of a beating, this one is for you.

Customer Review: AAhhh, a working reader without the hassle
Summary: 5 Stars

I use the SanDisk 12-in-1, the 5-in1 [SD Media], and primarily the CF readers from SanDisk. I also hate installing useless software unless it is absolutely necessary. However, the files that SanDisk creates when you push the button goes to a folder it creates and installs in My Documents called, ...My Transferred Files. How easy to find them. As photographer, this makes it easy to find the newly transferred files fast. Love these readers and they work great with the Belkin 7-port hubs. ...and it's portable, weighs nothing

Customer Review: Exactly as advertised
Summary: 5 Stars

Not too much to say, this thing works exactly as it is supposed to, requires no drivers, and is fast and effective at moving data off all types of memory media. It is great to have the ability to read any memory card; this device reads just about any type of media that you are likely to see in any consumer camera.

Just a note, when connected, this device will add 4 drive letters to your system (for all the different types of media). Not a negative, but some of the techies out there may want to know.

Customer Review: Sandisk ImageMate 12-in-1 Card Reader
Summary: 5 Stars

I recently bought two 2GB Sandisk CF cards for my SLR digital camera at Costco and they work just fine however getting the photos from the camera into my computer's hard drive using the USB cable that came with my camera was a little slow. This new card reader is very fast and hooks up very quickly out of the box. I easily recommend this product to anybody looking to speed up mass photo transfers to your computer for editing. This works a little faster than my other Lexar cards with their included reader port.
