Customer Review: Went through a complete wash cycle and still works!!!

I have always used Sandisk Compact Flash and SD cards and never had a problem with any of them in either my Panasonic camcorder, Canon SD630 POS or my Canon 40D dSLR. Never thought to write a review.
Recently I accidentally put my CF card in the wash with my jeans and when I finally went looking and relaise what I did I was freaking out. I thought I'd lost all my daughters 2nd birthday photographs.
I shook the card to get out any remaining water and ran to plug in into a my generic multicard reader and was AMAZED that it stills worked. I got ALL my photographs. It is truely rugged. Money well spent!!!

Contrary to the rating given by the previous reviewer, having a camera that is incapable of keeping up with the speed of the card is not a basis for a mediocre rating on the card itself. I've got an EOS 20D and I find this card much faster than my 512 Mb Sandisk Ultra II card. I highly recommend the card for those with cameras that have a high speed buffer. It allows many more pictures in a burst than the manufacturers claim because they base their estimates on slower cards. This card is well worth the money if you shoot a lot of high speed activities like sports, racing, airshows, fast moving animals, etc.Customer Review: Simply Wonderful

It's Difficult to make a drawn out, detailed review for this product.
Simply because its exactly what they say it is: fast, accurate , reliable data storage. Ive used it in the snow , and in the blistering Arizona dessert, pared with my Xti. I have NEVER had any issues with it, ever. So far I have had 3,000 + images taken, most in raw. The box came with a good quality key chain to hold another memory card and a well built plastic case to hold it.
Should I ever need another memory card , or need to recommend a card to a friend , this will be the first , and only memory card on my list.

The gf has an '08 Honda Civic with a card slot beside the CD slot. I bought this compact flash card along with the following SanDisk Compact Flash (CF) to PC Card adapter:

I use a universal card reader that came with my digital camera to load mp3s onto the CF card shown in the link.
It works great. The touch screen on the car's dashboard allows us to browse folders and sub-folders. The card holds thousands of songs. We have lots of our favorite music in the dashboard of the car now.

This is a great product and very well worth the price......Great for me in that my Sony R-1 gobbles up space at 10.3 MP...some raw files can exceed 30 Mb for 1 pic. I can get 153 pics on 4Gb....My wife took 2 of them down to the Galapagos Islands and doesn't have to drag her notebook with her to download pics....Same holds true for Central and S America...No need to drag your laptop into the Jungle.....Just this fine CF...If you're getting a big MP camera, don't waste your time on any smaller cards....You'll be glad you got this one at 133x transfer speeds and rugged to boot.......
