Digital Cameras Photo Reviews of SanDisk Extreme HD Video 8 GB Class 10 SDHC Flash Memory Card SDSDRX3-8192-A21Customer Review: Best I've owned Summary: 5 Stars
I've owned a few SanDisks over my photography years & none of them have failed me.
Received this (December 2009), bought a Patriot 16G class 6 (February 2010) when I started shooting in RAW format.
The Patriot just corrupted today, switched back to this card, & ordered a second a few minutes ago.
Bought this again because even if Patriot replaces my 16G, I'll probably only use it for video & stick with SanDisk for photos. I can't afford the time to reschedule an entire shoot if I ever lost 16Gs worth of images.
I shoot at 15.1mp, 3.4fps and recommend class 6 cards as a minimum for similarly capable cameras. 0 lag write time & infinite burst shots in JPEG, bursts of 9 & ~7 Seconds lag writing time in RAW.

Let's see, what are the cons for this 8gb memory card...absolutely NON! I use this card with my canon rebel xsi and it seems to be overkill for my needs, I shoot in the large (no RAW) picture setting on my camera and the card can hold a little over 1800 pictures and is incredibly fast. In fact, I haven't needed to empty it out yet since I bought it about a month ago, and I've taken a lot of pictures since then. All in all, a great buy plus it came with a card-reader, case, and warranty. The only thing is that these things can be pricey, however the prices tend to drop dramatically once a higher capacity card comes out, this can be a good and bad thing depending on when you buy, but this is typical with this type of product. 5 stars all the way.
Customer Review: come and get these memories... Summary: 5 Stars
Sandisk as usual worked flawlessly. 8 gb was a good number when shooting RAW and jpeg combo shots with my DSLR on a long vacation.if your shooting just jpeg you may only need 4gb or less.
My advice do not compromise on quailty and get a card with a fast transfer rate, get sandisk period amen. Remember if on vacation the cheapest thing you do is snap a picture so take lots at diffrent f stops and shutter speeds and use a top quality product. You can't afford to skimp on a second teer memory card and end up with poor quality or no pictures at all due to memory malfunction.Hey my memory is malfunctioning but then again I have dementia.where am I?
by the way the guy I purchased the memory card from was excellent.
Customer Review: extremely fast Summary: 5 Stars
I am using this sd card with my asus eee. I ve another 1G from another manufacturer. I didn't care about the speed when I was buying that one. Because it was for a cam and speed does not matter much if you are buying a sd for a cam. But when it comes to a asus eee, things become different. I played two movies consequtively using this sd card. There was no sign of a lag. I tried to play one of the movies with the old one, It didnt be able to play just one move smoothly.
So its your decision, If you need speed, pay more, buy this one, if you need storage space, you can find larger sd cards with considerably lower prices
Customer Review: Great Memory Card If You Have the Right Hardware... Summary: 5 Stars
This Extreme III SDHC card is fantastic in my new Canon EOS Rebel XSI, at maximum image quality (12 megapixel) this chip holds approximately 1500 photos (6 megapixel over 2000).
Only problem is standard SDHC card readers (I have two) will not read this high-capacity chip, I must keep the chip in the camera and connect the camera to the computer via the included USB connection cable. Not really a problem very confusing at first... I thought the chip was defective. Even the SanDisk website does not provide this information. The seller was excellent, product provided as promised in excellent condition would recommend.
