When I originally bought this item, I was a little concerned as I have read some reviews regarding static causing problems with this USB drive.
Now, 3 months later, I'm happy to report I have had no problems of any kind. The device has never caused me any problems, the U3 was easy to remove using the U3 remover available at [...], and the only possible complaint I could have is that it makes a metallic 'tink' sound in my pocket compared to the 'doink' sounds that the plastic Cruzer models make. 4GIG of space is quite a bit of room for what I need to carry in my pocket, access times are very good, and the unit has proven durable and reliable. I'm happy with my purchase.

There were three pleasant surprises with this very affordable flash drive:
1) It isn't a plastic flash drive dressed up to look metal; it really is metal. You can really feel this drive in your hand.
2) It is by far the fastest USB flash drive I have ever owned.
3) It emits a diffuse cool blue light that is a welcome change from the typical, and is extremely pleasing to the eye (AND functional).
I thought I would keep my variety of flash drives around after getting these, but I'm in the process of transferring data and giving away my others. I'm going to client code these with different lanyards and will definitely be buying more.

I have been through so many USB drives that have crashed, bent, been lost, runover and otherwise abused. I originally owned a 1GB Cruzer drive but filled it up with work and life. When I saw the 4GB for the price here, I jumped on it. Being able to retract the USB slide and having the unit made of titanium suits my very busy life. I keep it attached to my car keys so it is never far from me. I recommend this drive over the so many other flimsy, plastic drives out there. Of course also being able to download programs to the drive was an unexpected bonus and the library of available programs continues to grow. If you are looking for a USB drive do not waste your time with any others!Customer Review: Very fast and easy to use!

This is a superb USB Flash drive. It is fast and very easy to use. The only thing that I must add is that the included software does not work on Vista. Since I go back and forth from Vista PC's and XP's, I wish that there was a driver for both. I went to the SanDisk website and found that soon a driver will be out for Vista. At any rate, the 4 gig Flash drive works wonderfully with both operating systems. I love the plug and play feature. And, the size is just right. I bought a small carrying case for it that has the capacity to hold a total of 4 Flash drives. This way the drive can travel with me with ease. There is really not much to say when describing a USB flash drive, except whether or not it works. This device works well as a mass storage device; I cannot say much about the U3 functions, as I have yet to use them, they seem unnecessary. Every computer I use it on (many) recognizes it instantly and files transfer seamlessly. I do like the password feature, which virtually guarantees that your data is safe if the drive is lost/stolen. The rugged metal construction is nice, in fact this seems to be the only model which is metal and not plastic. This should contribute to this drive's longevity. All in all, much recommended for easy transport of files.
