I have to admit that I'm a fan of these Cruzer titaniums. I read that some people seem to mind the U3 software, but I don't Mind you, sometimes these little drives seem to have senior moments when all your files magically disappear (it's happened to me twice). But this only seems to happen when I'm trying to force the computer to multitask more than it wants to. These titanium cruzers are amazingly solid and strong, and I also like the password protection option. I now have three of these and, all in all, I'm pleased. I'd like to see 10 gig ones, though. I started with a 2 gig one and now must move higher and higher as files become larger and larger. I noticed that there's now an 8 gig one available, and I imagine I'll move up to that at some point.Customer Review: Slick Product per old computer guy

I bought the SanDisk 4 GB Cruzer Titanium Flash Drive for my wife. The kids are gone and she is going back to school and had to take a computer class. I have been using computers since the 70's and really wasn't familiar with this type product. But it works beautifully. She can plug it in and it works as fast as working off of the hard drive. It really is like adding a hard drive that you can take with you.
Installing was plug 'n play, so that was no problem. I bought the titanium because she is always in a hurry and I thought this would keep the stuff saved on it protected. Don't know yet if that was wasted money or not.
Very pleased with the product and pretty amazed how easy it was to add a mobile 4 GB.

Nice product, looking-forward to 8GB from SanDisk. I like the retractable connector, but it is tight-fitting for older USB ports; don't know why. The included software seems like a good idea, and can be deleted. The company needs to do a better job explaining how, because it seems there are some possible problems you could cause yourself. I bought one each of these for the research team, and it makes backup much easier to know they have most of their user files locally stored. I'm traveling between multiple offices and using multiple platforms, and now I just keep everything on the stick and do a tar cvf archive.tar whenever I'm on the main office machine. Once I figured out how to get rid of U3 (I'm on a mac) I was very happy with this and use it daily at work. Sandisk quality drive in a strong case. It is very sturdy. I throw it in my pocket with all of my keys and never worry about it. Feels good and hefty. Very smooth action on the slider. The whole white slider part glows blue when it is plugged in, and emits some diffused flashes when it is transferring. So you either like this because it reminds you to unplug it before you leave work, or you hate it because it is distracting. Me - I don't mind it. This is a great everyday flash drive, especially if you don't want to have to worry about crushing it, or bumping it around with your keys.Customer Review: Great drive, practically indestructible

First off, this drive is heavy. Not in a bad sense, but it has some reassuring heft to it. The liquidmetal casing is VERY solid, and there have been tests done that say this thing can withstand being run over by an SUV multiple times, thrown off tall buildings, thrown in pools etc and still work without a scratch on it. The drive transfer speeds are acceptable, and good for a drive in this price range but not the fastest ever. The bundled U3 software is great for what I do, but I can see why some people don't like it, it takes a few seconds to start once the drive is plugged in. For the price, this drive is definitely the best out there for 4gb drives, and its pretty good looking to boot!
