This was a present from a friend and I love it based on its functionality and available space. There is synchronization software which I have yet to play with to see how it works but when used as a conventional flash drive you can fit a little bit of everything. As a writer and photographer I tend to carry a lot of word documents and photos around with me since I am always doing something with them. This allows me to finish the work I am involved in without running low on space. Given I also work as a technician, I was able to keep full downloads of some application freeware I often need access to.
Its a sleek design and glows royal blue when its active. Like most Flash USB's you need to do the proper ejecting method so u dont lose your files and it comes with a lanyard cord and pocket clip. A worthy purchase for the technophile or someone who just needs space.

I needed a large capacity flash drive and took a chance on the Cruzer. Thus far I am pleased with its function. I have used it on my home Windows-ME computer (even though only Windows 2000 and XP are listed)and transferred the data at work using their Windows-XP platform. No problems. Apparently also works on MAC (but not the U3 program) and Linux. This is a fast transfer device, but worked fine on my slower USB port. This device is unique in that it functions like a hard drive, with the ability to crate separate folders for different documents. Has its own ejection program for safe removal, but works just as well via the Windows program. After I determined that the 4GB drive worked so well, I purchased a 2GB drive for smaller projects. I do not know about VISTA, you might check their website to see if there is a patch.Customer Review: Outstanding product, would buy again!

- U3 security and bundled software: can be handy if you use this in public computers where personal information might be vulnerable
- Loading time: I use this at home and at my workplace only, so I disabled the U3 software (it takes an almost unreasonably long time to load the U3 app in order to use the drive)
- Accessories: does not come with a key ring or lanyard
- Design: reflective metallic exterior, center section blue LED lights up when connected
- Summary: Great product. Owned for a month with daily use and experienced no problems. Would definitely buy again.

I bought this Sandisk Cruzer Titanium 4GB Flash Drive over a year ago.
I use this to store important documents and treasured photos at home.
Unfortunately I cannot use this Flash Drive at my job on a military installation, due to security mandates DOD-wide. Before the military ban on "thumb drives" my co-workers seemed impressed with the uniqueness of the shiny titanium surface.
I've unintentionally washed it twice in the washing machine.
Each time, I simply shook the water off, and dried the USB socket with paper towels. I was greatly surprized that It worked as good as new! - And it even smells "Springtime Fresh"! I also bought the plastic version of the SanDisk Cruzer and it performs as well (and washes as well) as the Titanium.

This product is very easy to set up, and apparently installs no files to the computer's drive. There is no need to use the U3 features if you don't want; they do not intrude. My need was capacity and password protection, and that I got. It allows complex passwords using mixed case letters, numbers, and special characters; but apparently does not encript files. After initial setup, just insert the Cruzer and in a few seconds it will ask for a password on whatever computer. It is also much faster than my 512 MB USB/2 Lexar JumpDrive. I have batch files that copy data files to flash drive, and from flash drive to another computer for off-site backup and access. I keep the data on the flash when I travel with a notebook so there is no data on the notebook.
