The drive provides a few items that I like.
Good security
Ample space to move large quantities of pictures, etc between computers
Protected browsing when you use the drive on another computer (saves your favorites list as well)
Data data synchronization feature.
The last is really my favorite as you can synchronize your outlook and back up your office files automatically when you invoke the synch program. I bought it about a month ago. Since then the price has come down substantially. It is really a good buy right now.

I've had great luck with mine. I have a couple of these from other companies and like this one the best, mostly because of the way it works. Slide it out to use, one piece, no cap, etc. A lot easier to deal with than other flash drives I've had. It works, too. That's obviously very important.
Slow on a big data transfers, like videos, but that could just be my computer. Not that slow, just slower than I thought it would be. Still a huge bargain though. Gets the job done and I like knowing customer service is there should I ever need them.

The Sandisk 8GB memory card is great for me. It is the right size to handle the storage I need, including video. I like the slide out USB plug which eliminates the need to keep up with a cover. The rapid pulsing of the bright activity light makes sure you are aware when it is being read or written to, therefore when not to disconnect it. The slow pulsing of the activity light keeps you aware that the card is present and plugged in. This minimizes the chances of damaging the USB from unintended bumps or strikes to the Sandisk card.Customer Review: Finally enough space!

I've had this thing for a little over two weeks and I love it. I finally have enough space to hold all my critical backups and then some. I can't speak to its durability since I've only had it for a short while, but I accidentally washed my 4gb Cruzer along with a load of laundry and not only did it still work perfectly afterward, THERE WAS NO LOSS OF DATA WHATSOEVER! These things are tough! Can't wait for the 16gb Cruzer so I can devote a full 4gb to Vista's ReadyBoost and still have 12gb left over for general data storage.Customer Review: Huge Memory, Small & Durable

SanDisk is known for quality memory products and this is no exception. The retractable connector is well made and means there is no small plastic cover to lose and we all lose them. Small and lite yet solid case means this thing can fit in your pocket with your keys and not end up broken. 8GB of memory allows for an entire DVD or more music then you can listen to in a week. The sliding connector is what sold me on this USB drive, the button locks into position in both the retracted and extended positions making for easy use.
