Bought this for the U3 so I could run UltraEdit UE3 (not allowed to install it on work computer). Since then I've added PortableApps. They coexist quite nicely. There is still plenty of space left over to store my personal and work files - with 2GB to spare.
Now to load it up with anti-spyware software to fix a friend's computer.
A great deal for a 4GB drive!

The thing works as advertised, useful, handy and functional (good transfer speeds! of 15MB/s). The transfer speeds are very good indeed. From my point of view: Highly recommended. With no name products you may be lucky, you may be not. With the SanDisk Cruzer you know what you get. Worth the minor price increase, since I'd rather have a good product than save 2 bucks (or 10) for mediocre performance.Customer Review: Excellent unit

Unit performs well, is reasonably fast, and has on-board security software that will allow the setting of a password. If you choose this option, loading each time upon insertion is a little slower, and you must 'stop' the unit prior to removing it when operating under the password protection. I purchased a PNY 4GB Attache' instead. I noticed that the SanDisk is U3 compatible, which might've made me buy it -- that is, until I found out that you have to PAY for U3 software! I couldn't believe it! Don't waste your time or money on U3 programs 'cause you can get great software FOR FREE from PortableApps. Otherwise, SanDisk is a good choice...just stay away from U3!Customer Review: Big memory, small size

Now that I'm getting into much bigger files to transfer, I needed a larger thumb drive. I've been very happy with this drive and I usually try to go with SanDisk because I never had any problems with their thumb drives or other storage media in the past. The retractable USB connector is great too. Price was good and the shipping was very fast. I'm very happy!
