This USB drive is everything I hoped for. I like having such a large memory capacity compared to its small physical size. The slide-out design of the USB port is great for two reasons:
-Capless design protects the port without a cap (caps are easy to lose!)
-You must push in to engage the sliding mechanism which prevents you from extending the port unintentionally.
Overall, I am very pleased with this purchase. I have owned several USB flash drives prior to this and many full size and compact hard drives. This is my favorite toy for toting around portable apps and movies without worrying about running out of space.

Good product for a good price. Has been working great for many months now, close to a year I think. At first I was going to give a negative review because the drive would not remember my folder view preferences. I set a folder to thumbnail view, go out and then back into the folder, and it would already be back to list view. Then I found out that this is common for flash drives and there's a fairly easy fix online. It involves reformatting it. I don't remember any details because I did it almost a year ago, i think. If you're interested and having a hard time finding the info on this fix then just respond to this review. I'll see if I can help.Customer Review: Slick, fast, does what it should.

I bought the memory stick to accompany the new Xbox 360 update that allows use of flash drives to install games and other data, and it has worked perfectly for that. Game installs take a while longer to it than to the hard drive, but it's a minor complaint; it works perfectly after a quick format when it's first plugged into the console. Games run from it without a hitch and it takes some of the stress off of the small hard drive that came with the console without having to spend the time and money to get a bigger hard drive and transfer everything.
All in all it was a great purchase that works exactly as I hoped it would.

Don't know why all the hate for U3. I have been running everything off my 4GB
SanDisk Cruzer thumb drive for three years now. ThunderBird & Firefox for U3 both
run well. I will purchase this drive because now my 4GB drive is full. I am fairly
certain it will perform just as well. U3 simply gives you the security to know you
can plug into any computer, run your e-mail and internet browser without leaving
anything on the host computer. It's great. I might try the open-source
PortableApps, instead of U3, next time. This is an excellent drive and a great
value.

It's a nice product. U3 is worthless (just take a look at it and remove it using the software itself). When U3 is installed the unit is slow in most computers and incompatible in DivX players.
The only thing I was looking for in U3 was some kind of security to keep a safe area in the flash drive. Unfortunately the only way to do this is by securing the whole drive (which many times is useless because you have to provide your own password to your colleagues when copying stuff). Much better remove U3 and install TrueCrypt for this purpose.
Overall the product is fine, fast and reliable.
