This thing works as advertised. I've tried this on a few different Windows machines (XP Home, XP Pro, and Vista) and all of them detected the USB Memory stick without any issues. I really like that there is no cap to lose, which makes it easy to carry on your key chain with the included mini keychain loop.
I've used SanDisk for many different products (SD card, microSD cards, MMC, and Compact Flash memory) and they've all been great. I haven't had any issues with SanDisk products failing and I've used them for over a decade now. In the professional photography world, these seem to be the brand that photographers trust with their images.
I also like the fact that SanDisk is an American company. So you don't have to worry about an overseas company making junk products and not standing behind them.
Whenever I look to buy something related to memory/storage, I find out if SanDisk makes it. If they do, then there's no question. SanDisk all the way.

This is an excellent product. It always works. Love the push-out feature after losing my cap on my previous flash drive.
About the title: How can anybody not realize that it must have been a mistake that the product was listed for .01 cents?? Geez, 6000 people ordered this? And so many bad reviews for the company who sells them and Amazon? Get a grip people. Your own greed caused this.
Guess y'all never made a mistake in your life? I hope everyone apologizes to the company who's rating you have demolished because of your own intolerance for a mistake.
I too have been mad at Amazon before when they listed the shipping as before Christmas and I didn't get it until after. So you write to Amazon, get them to explain and not write a horrible review first!
That type of greed that makes people mad they had to pay a (very) fair price for a good product is the same motivator that made those 2000 people storm the Walmart.

This is the third time I have purchased one of these. This time it was a gift for a friend.
The SanDisk Cruzer is, for many reasons, currently the best flash drive you can get for the price.
It has a nice, sleek design with a retractable USB connector. The Cruzer is also very compact and can be easily attached to your keychain.
The 16 GB of disk space is more than enough for most flash drive uses.
Like all Flash drives, it uses a FAT32 file system, which means it cannot hold files that are larger than 4GB.
However, this can be overcome by using WinRAR to split up the file.
Pros: nice design, compact, convenient, reliable, great performance, includes keyring and extra features, best value
Cons: [none]
In conclusion, this is an absolute 5-star product. *****

I purchased the SanDisk for the U3 software application to be run on the flash drive... After testing or playing with the flash drive and the U3 software... i would have to give it 5 stars... As long as you're going from PC to PC you can carry all of your applications around on the flash drive...
Depending on your preference... Portable Apps. can be run on any flash drive... While U3 is SanDisk specific... Both applications work great if you would like to have the ability to carry your documents and applications around only on a single flash drive... Yes, you can remove the U3 application and reinstall if you would like... Pending on the application the U3 software will use upto 1 GB.. So, go bigger than 1 GB if you would like to test/play with the U3 software.......
Rate it a must buy for the 16 GB with the U3 software addition...

My computer was fried during a storm, but thankfully the hard drive was savable and put into another PC. I bought a couple of these flash drives to back up my video, music and picture files, and so that I would be able to access these files on my main PC.
I'm not understanding the complaints about the transfer rates being extremely slow. Last night I nearly filled one drive with all my yoga videos and workouts. It probably took about 10-15 minutes to copy 10.1 GB. Is that really something to complain about? Go check your email, get a coffee, take a shower. I guess, for me, even if it had taken longer, what I was most concerned about was being able to access and play these videos on my main PC --or, for that matter, any computer-- directly from the flash drive without any lag. And I'm happy to report the videos are playing just fine.
