Digital Cameras Photo Reviews of SanDisk 8 GB Extreme III CF Card SDCFX3-008G-A31 (Retail Package)

Customer Review: fast and reliable...great CF card!
Summary: 5 Stars

I just got back from Kenya where I was shooting photos for my work and also took a lot of personal photos while on a safari. This card was great! I didn't have any problems and never had to wait for the card to catch up to me. I took nearly 800 photos in RAW without having to fumble around swapping cards while bouncing along in the Maasai Mara. I highly recommend this card.

Customer Review: Very fast and reliable
Summary: 5 Stars

I use this card with Nikon d300s and compared it with Transcend 133x speed. SanDisk was much more faster when writing in camera and when downloading pictures in computer. This card was worked in camera without errors. But Transcend card have errors and I had to change it. Also SanDisk give CD with licensed data recovery software. It,s absent in another cards that I bought.

Customer Review: Nice Price for a large card
Summary: 5 Stars

At the time of this purchase (12/30/07), this was a good price for this size card. I know, I know.....a 512mb card used to cost this much. What can I say...I use this card in my Canon 1d Mark lll and it performs flawlessly. I have also used Sandisk Extreme IV cards but cannot really tell the difference, probably because of my not-up-to-date computer. Nice large card.

Customer Review: great
Summary: 5 Stars

what an invention!!! I put this in my Canon Rebel XT (8 megapixle) and the lcd showed that I had 999 pictures left on the SanDisk.. that's the highest number my canon will dislplay. haha. I took 1341 pictures at once with this and it wasn't even half way full. and that is using my full resolution at 8 megapixels... which came out to be 3-4 megabites per picture

Customer Review: Excellent CF card. Fast and reliable.
Summary: 5 Stars

I use this card with my 50D and when I shoot in RAW I get about 330 shots but in jpeg over 1000. The card is extremely fast and keeps up with the 50D when I chase my niece and nephew around. I was able to take multiple shot of them going down slides and running. The card didn't miss a beat when I was shooting high speed continuous.

Highly recommended.
