Two or three of theses are a must when traveling....fast and high capacity. Best card I've ever owned. When I travel/vacation, I take about two to three thousand pictures a week. One of these cards will take care of the better part of two or three days worth. And because of its speed, I never miss a shot. Can get the 5-6 frames per second with my Nikon D300. This card, and the Nikon of course, are integral parts of my bird watching trips, or trips to Disneyland with the grandkids, etc.Customer Review: Lots of space and very fast

I bought this card because my 4GB Sandisk Ultra didn't have enough space for me. I shoot in RAW plus JPEG, so I need a lot of space for that. This card is perfect for my needs and holds plenty of RAW and JPEG shots. It's also very fast when transferring my files to the computer. It works great and I've always had good experiences with SanDisk.
Definitely recommended if you shoot in RAW and need a larger memory card. The more memory, the better.

I have other Sandisk CF cards that have a lower writing speed but as I progress is learning more about photography, the research indicate that faster writing speeds were better for shots that involved wildlife and nature. I purchased what I could afford at this time and was amazed at how much faster this Extreme III card was over my other cards. It worked perfectly and we took over 500 shots in RAW format during a trip to Chicago recently. Great product.Customer Review: Monsterous Storage! GET ONE!

Very fast, very reliable and used in an olympus 8080 with thousands upons thousands of super fine resolution huge jpegs. I used it with a Nikon D200 with well over a 1,000 raw files and 4-5,000 jpegs on various fine settings. I recommend it and watch the pricing, I paid about $10 less than I currently see it listed, however, go to a local store and see it at triple the pice easily. If you use or want to give a gift for a photo person this is it!Customer Review: More pictures than you can ever need.

I got this card because I shoot weddings as an assistant. Even on my highest quality setting it gives you so many pictures that you almost don't need a second card. It shoots over 1,000 images easily on my Canon 50D. I would highly recommend. It comes with a trial of their free recovery software but I haven't activated that so I cannot review it. If you needed this for a week vacation I would venture to say you wouldn't have to bring a second card.
