I purchased this combo to use in my Palm 800w. The other reviews hit the nail on the head about how tiny this thing is. 8GB in a pinky nail and the reader is only marginally bigger than a full sized male USB plug. The price is so good I was convinced I'd be receiving counterfeit merchandise. I capacity tested mine to verify it was indeed 8GB. During the test i was getting between 13-14 MB/sec read/write speeds.
Delivery was less than a week and I couldn't be happier with having an 8GB card smaller than the cap to my 4GB thumb drive! Just be careful not to lose the card or the reader!

Recently I went looking for a gift for my 19 year grandson. I asked him what he wanted and he told me a Memory Card for his cell phone. I am completely illerate when it come to electronics and told him to go shop around and I would buy it for him. He and his grandpa went to several places, including ebay. We found it here on Amazon for the price we wanted to pay. We had fast delivery, good communication, and my grandson was completely happy with the performance. He said he would rate it at 100%. All I can tell you is that I was pleased I saved a lot of money. So Amazon, once again, closed the generation gap!Customer Review: Amazing!

This is the most adorable little thing. Who would imagine they can get 8 GB of memory onto something the size of a pinky nail? The bonus for me was the cute little card reader that came with it. It's so much smaller than the adapter for an SD card. It comes with a small lanyard and an easily detachable clip, so you can carry it on your keys. I hooked the lanyard to it but will only use it at home, as I'm using the memory card in my Samsung Instinct. This would be great for transferring work files to & from. Also it should be noted that the card reader is VERY lightweight while still being sturdy.Customer Review: Great

Definitely purchase an sdhc card (4gb or more) with a usb card reader, like this. I have a card reader in my laptop and it works fine with my 2gb, but it won't even show the 8gb. My mother-in-law has a 4gb that I thought went bad, because it wouldn't read in her laptop card reader or mine. Apparently, the reader just doesn't support sdhc.
I am glad that I chose one with the reader.
The reader isn't part of the package, as I assumed. I received the card set (adapters included) and the reader was just put inside the envelope with the card set.

Don't let the users' pictures fool you. I ordered this product from "Digital Media Source" and it did not include a "Sandisk MobileMate Micro SD & M2 Reader" or even a microSDHC to SDHC converter card. The packaging looks like there should be a converter card, but there is not. I would suggest ordering the following separately: Sandisk MobileMate Micro SD & M2 Reader (SDDR-121, Bulk Package). It will still be cheaper than buying the full retail unit.
