Digital Cameras Photo Reviews of SanDisk 2 GB Cruzer Titanium ( SDCZ7-2048-A10, Retail Package)Customer Review: looks classical and good functionality Summary: 5 Stars
the look of this flash drive is very classical. it is different from the photo here: the inside region is not flat but a little bit convex, and is of a darker titanium color. nevertheless, it looks quite awesome.
also, before you open up the package, because of the plastic packaging, the titanium looks like it has some wrinkle pattern. but after i opened up the package, that pattern is not there... so it is probably due to the plastic casing.
in terms of the drive installing some U3 launchpad small app on the computer, for me, it is not a big deal... and the transfer rate feels quite good. i like it so much that i actually ordered the 2GB one after getting the 1GB version.
Customer Review: My last "jump drive" Summary: 5 Stars
I had a small 512 Sandisk a while back, so when I saw a review for the Titanium 2GB Cruzer in a popular computer mag, I decided to upgrade from my Lexar 1GB. So far, I'm very impressed. Just did a 1.26GB transfer that took 140 seconds. I was a big leery of the included software, but was pleased to see that if I didn't care for it, it was easily removed. I have not had an issue with either the software or the drive, and am very impressed with the design of the retractable interface that requires pressure to expose or retract. This is a very good drive, and contrary to the negative comments, I would encourage anyone looking for a fast, stylish, practical jump drive to seriously conside the Titanium Cruzer.
Customer Review: technology rocks Summary: 5 Stars
I bought this flash drive 2 weeks ago and use it all the time. Was a little skeptical about the u3 from the reviews I read but I don't know what they were talking about because I love the u3, it's worked on all the windows computers that I've used it on. You can download all kinds of free u3 software real easy from the device if your connected to the internet. It's nice to be able to password protect your info. I recommend this to anyone looking for memory, don't have to worry about losing a cap and it's very rugged. I will probably be buying the 4 gb one in the near future because you can never have to much memory.
Customer Review: Best Flash Drives around - Liquid Metal Summary: 5 Stars
This flash drive is as good as I've seen. The only drawback to it is the U3 operating system and the scanning software included - as good as it is is not Vista compatible. The drive still works flawlessly with Vista, and it works beautifully with XP. The real bonus though is the virtually indestructable Titanium alloy liquid metal shell, the optional included Titanium clip, and the well made secure lanyard. It is truly a thing of beauty, and tremendous utility. At these prices I cannot recommend them highly enough. I have both the 2 gig and the 4 gig. They are phenomenal. I didn't buy them through this site.
Customer Review: Sandisk flashdrive Summary: 5 Stars
When I bought it, I was scared that it might not work with my PDA. But, once again, Sandisk convinced me otherwise. The flashdrive works fine and it looks just as good as the material it's made from. The only downside that I found was the cover piece that should slide in and out to protect the USB inserter. It gives me a hard time putting it on the drive. So, I keep it detached all the time. It still looks good and both parts are made from strong titanium metal. But I would prefer to have the two parts somehow attached together, so that I had to just only slide it open, then slide the USB piece..
