Digital Cameras Photo Reviews of SanDisk 2 GB Class 2 SD Flash Memory Card SDSDB-2048-A11

Customer Review: Ridiculous value for the $
Summary: 5 Stars

I bought this card for my little handheld camcorder and it has worked amazingly. Lots of bang for the buck. My VuPoint PMP DV can record 3 hours of video and store 1,395 pictures all on this one little card. It has seen some hard traveling and fairly extreme weather conditions and I've had no issues with freezing up, lost memory or file corruption. Download speed to the computer isn't particularly fast but I'm not sure I can blame that on the card. My only beef is that it is not actually 2 MB, it is more like 1.89, but all SD card manufactures "round up" when they talk memory, and in any case this one delivers plenty for the casual videographer/picture taker (if 1,395 pictures isn't enough capacity for you, you must REALLY like the scenery). Bottom line, this card is a rarity: an inexpensive piece of hardware that delivers nearly all of what it promises.

Customer Review: 2 gb sandisc
Summary: 5 Stars

Bought this item to go with my first digital camera (Pentax optio e40)Since I have no experience with memory cards I can only say its working fine, some pictures fantastic, some not so great, but its myself who has to learn everything about using the camera. The price for this product was great( $15.87). After looking at prices for other memory cards this was a great buy. Did have some questions however. When I first inserted the card and was learning how to use the camera, I brought up very very faint images of someone elses production. 2 faint images. These were not sample pictures, something totally different with a page of production credits etc. and really wondered if the disc was recycled. It was packed as completely new and as I said I have not had any problems with it but I am curious about the 2 faint images.

Customer Review: Cheap 2 G SanDisk
Summary: 5 Stars

We recently purchased a Canon Powershot SD750 (awesome point and shoot)and it comes with a SD card with as much memory as Sugar Ray Robinson so we needed a larger card. I purchased this 2.0 GB SanDisk card for so little I was sure it was going to show up with a name like "SaMDisk" instead of SanDisk and melt my new camera when I put it in. Not true. We've been using it for a month or so everyday and it works great. It does it's job which is to store a mass amount of images and not alter the quality - which it does beautifully. No complaints here, except that I was hoping that there would be one coded image already on the card which, if deciphered, would guide me to the crystal skull.

Customer Review: Works Flawlessly
Summary: 5 Stars

I have used the SanDisk brand SD card for some time now. Have used 512K, 1G and the new 2G versions. All have performed flawlessly. Using in both computer and camera applications I have expereinced no problems. Even though I do not use the Ultra versions, the only time I have ever experienced an issue regarding speed is with my new Nikon DSLR in the burst mode. The camera will photo at 3 frames per second. After approximately 40-50 photos in continuous mode, the card will slow down but this is not a problem. The camera has sufficient internal memory that it just backs up in it and continues to download as it can. This has never caused me a problem. This is a great card. Enjoy it.

Customer Review: Great card for a great price
Summary: 5 Stars

This card has performed well in my Palm TX. I was able to begin using it right out of the box with no problems at all. The speed is great for what I need it for (accessing data and running programs on the Palm). (I have no idea how fast it would be in a digital camera, where speed is more critical, but it does not seem to be a sluggish card). I have taken it in and out of my card reader many times, and transferred data to and from it many times without a problem for almost a month now.

SD makes high quality products, and this is no exception. This is a great card that Amazon is offering at a great price.
