Digital Cameras Photo Reviews of Digital Concepts Ps-101 Portable Lighting StudioCustomer Review: perfect for small items! Summary: 5 Stars
It takes really good pictures! I'm very bad at taking pictures and my camera isn't one of those coooool ones... But I was surprised how pictures come out with this small studio set up. It took me few test shots in the beginning with those lighting and background choses, once you figure it out, rest is so easy. I bought this items to take pictures of my handmade items that I am starting to sell online. My items look very professional, no more those tacky lighting! Best part of all, it is so compact and nicely packs away when I don't need it. Super convenient for carrying around. If you are shopping for something like this, I am highly recommend this one. Just be aware of the size, it is perfect for jewelry, vase ect..
Well packaged shipping, too.
Because I was very looking forward to get it, shipping felt little slow..
Customer Review: Jewelry Photo Cube Summary: 5 Stars
I purchased this after seeing it in an advertisement in a jewelry making journal. I searched on-line for the item and found it via Amazon. I am delighted with the tool for my business. I have tried all types of photography for my jewelry and this is the perfect way to get a accurate and professional looking picture. We just talked about this item at our Guild meeting last night and we are having a class on using these in August. There are 2 other members with one and they said that they can be purchased at WallyWorld, but frankly, I did not see anything that is like it at Walmart. This is one of my main tools for my business. Now I can make decent pictures of my jewlery for an upcoming website. THANKS!!!

Customer Review: PS-101Lightbox kit Lamp Upgrade Summary: 5 Stars
The light box construction is well done and executed.!
The two lamps provided are 20 watt units, and a bit weak for the purpose.
The lights can be upgraded to 35 watt or 50 watt halogens. You need 120 volt GU10 type replacements available at home center stores or here on Amazon. (Push in and twist 1/4 turn to remove the lamps)
If you do upgrade to the higher wattage lamps, use them only intermittently. Also unscrew and remove the front lamp retaining ring to allow increased airflow around the higher wattage lamps. After the lamps cool, replace the ring for secure storage of the lamps.
The tripod provided works OK, and supports my Lumix DMC-FZ7 without a problem.
Customer Review: Great and handy with foldup pouch Summary: 5 Stars
The only thing I would like better is a green backround. The same color as used by the TV stations for inserting backrounds. A medium green seems to allow cleaner backround drops than this blue. I'd also like a simple method to place lighting from higher or above. I'm going to try to make a metal frame that rings the opening and has clamps for the lights. I dropped one light and the bulb blew out. I was concerned about the high factory cost until I found the same bulb at Walmart for $4.
Quality construction and a great studio for our hundreds of eBay listings. Thanks!
Customer Review: My mini studio__perfect for the price Summary: 5 Stars
For a few years now I have been saying that I wanted to get a mini photo studio, but they always seemed to be a bit pricy for a box and 2 or 3 lights. This little diddy was: a great bargain, exactly what I needed, and not complicated.
I am NOT a photographer, but needed this for both of my websites and eBay. I love how it can easily be broken down, with 2 pockets for the 2 lights and the cords. I has a handle and is not bulky at all. The only thing is the lights do get hot really fast, so be careful. Perfect for small items.
