Very nice product. It could be nicer if:
1) The USB cable should be attached to the stick, not the throttle, so that it could be used separately.
2) The stick handle could be more anatomic.
3) They could have put some sort of lock for the reverse throttle. That detent is insufficient.
4) The piece of software should be more user friendly.
UPDATE: X52 Pro was used in the movie "GI Joe: The Rise Of Cobra" to represent the 'Night Raven' and the 'Mantis' flight controls ! Take a look at the pictures I uploaded. Cool ...

I am very pleased with my new toy. This joystick is very nice. I am impressed with the overall finishing and how it works. I am a little worried about the trigger on the base of the stick handle. It seems that it will stop working.
I found it difficult to program it using the Saitek software. The software that comes in the CD did not worked, but I was able to download it from the web. I am still trying to understand how ca I program it. The manual seems to me not to be very user-friendly.
But my overall opinion is that it was a good acquisition.

Have been using my X36 joystick and throttle for the past 10 years for flightsim and other aviation related games. It's good to see that Saitek kept the solid feel of the X36 in the X52 pro with some extra switches and controls. Overall I am very happy with the X52 pro. I considered the X65 but the cost changed my mind as I already have the Saitek yoke, throttle and rudder pedals. The only issue I have with the X52 pro is when using the twist rudder and trying to bank with the joystick it jams the stick a little when using both.Customer Review: Saitek X52 Pro - Wow

This prduct is great for flight sims, set up is easy, but you may find it will take time to set up profiles for different games, when i first recieved this product it was faulty, so contacted saitek , the ppl at there US based offices are great they had me rma the first one and send it of to them, within a week I had my replacement which works great...well worth the buy

It is a very good system with plenty of controls. Some of the controls require time to learn how to set the programs. The negative aspect is that sometimes when it is plugged into the usb port it causes the computer to lock and all icons to flicker and not function properly. I will have to call Saitek to try to find a fix to the problem. I have 2 of these units and both did the same lock up on 2 different computers.
