I like the Saitek x52 though there a couple flaws in my opinion. One flaw is that the software you get is basically out dated and you have to go to it's web page to get the updated version. Also the joystick has a bit too much play in it. I'm all most thinking I want to see if there is any way for me to tighten that up some how. Threw the settings of most flight games there are setting to adjust the precision of the controllers so in the end it works out.Customer Review: Absolutely Amazing

The led screen was a little dameaged when I first opened it up, no biggy but a little anoing. Otherwise were do I begin... Well you can do just about anything with this joystick/throttle combo, like program around 300 buttons with the three different modes and shift button using the programing software that comes with it, and thats just the begining. There also is a mouse on the throttle for quick access! All in all it was worth the $100 and thensome.Customer Review: a good HOTAS without the price

A good HOTAS without paying more for a somewhat better one. I will admit it was awkward at first having flown with a twist stick and throttle all on one piece of hardware for so long, but now I wont ever go back. I get much more throttle control and input precision now then I ever did. The trim wheels are also a blessing which I grown to love. Overall, its built well and a very nice setup for a reasonable price.Customer Review: Saitek X52

More buttons and switches than I can actually use. The separate throttle gives me precise control. The main buttons and hat switches are ideally placed, so I do not have to move my whole hand to operate them. Basic programming is quite easy, but there is more than I have yet used. It takes a little while and effort to master all the features available.
Overall, the X52 is an excellent device.

When I purchased my Flight Simulator Deluxe Edition, I chose to purchase these controls, as well. I wanted as real a feel as I could get with my gaming system. Well, at the time, they were the best on the shelf that I could find. Nothing else came close to these. The first few reviewers have explained the controls already. They are right on the money! You will want to purchase these along with your game.
