Digital Cameras Photo Reviews of Saitek Three Lever Pro Throttle Quadrant (PZ45)Customer Review: A better Throttle Quadrant, at 1/3 the price Summary: 5 Stars
Setup was fairly easy. I was not told that there are 3 switches associated with the X/Y/Z axis, as they pass Zero. It is a nice touch. I have the throttle engage the brake, the Prop engages the reverse thrust, and so on. Just my choices. So there are actually three axis sliders and 9 switches.
Install the drivers bur do not install the setup software, use the FS-9 or FS-X controls setup. It was all auto selectable.
I installed mine in Flight Simulator-X and the mounting is adjustable and much better than the CH product. The levers simulate the real thing better, too. Well built and solid. Thanks Saitek.
Customer Review: Performs as indicated Summary: 5 Stars
The Saitek Three Lever Pro Throttle Quadrant works just as well if not better than its higher priced counterpart. I installed 2 of them in my flight simulator side by side. They set up and adjust very easy and the throws and ranges are very precise. I would recommend the saitek line of equiment to anyone looking for realism in flight simulation. You just cant beat this price and the quality is amazing. Amazon is great to deal with. They stand behind everything and ship super fast.
Thanks Amazon
Customer Review: Must have for IL2 series Summary: 5 Stars
I had no problem installing this on my machine running XP. I just plugged it in and assigned the axes to it under HOTAS and off I went. I did not download the software it came with and have had no problems. Throttle control is superb, flaps can be incremently selected, no more keyboard preset with only 2 or 3 choices, same for prop pitch. Unit seems to be well made with smooth lever movement and good rocker switch feel. I will be getting another one for elevator, rudder, and aileron trim. Wish I had bought this long ago.
Customer Review: A new experience!! Summary: 5 Stars
I have been using the Flight Simulator since years ago; until now, I only used a joystick with forceback; recently, I bought the Yoke, Pedal Rudder and two Quadrants and realized that the experience is totally different. I recommend it 100%. You will feel a better control of your planes, experiencing more satisfaction when taxiing, taking-off or landing... Excellent investment.

Customer Review: Does what it is designed for Summary: 5 Stars
I've been using it with FS2004 and FSX, and works like a charm with each two. I didn't even install the CD. Do not forget to fine tune your idle zones though; it kept me busy through forums for like an hour. If you do not do it properly, the throttles work within like 20%-80% instead of 0%-100%. Setting idle zone sensitivities to just 0 worked for FS2004 (I did nothing for FSX).
