Digital Cameras Photo Reviews of Saitek Pro Flight Yoke with Three-Lever Throttle (PZ44)Customer Review: Fantastic Summary: 5 Stars
I have had many products in the past but none that match the awesome controls that Saitex has given me. Before the Saitex I use the CH controller. It started out good but than began sticking. I have tried everything from: silicon sprays grease, oils nothing helped. The shaft on the CH is made of plastic as opposed to the Saitex which is made out of Stainless steel. In my opinion i believe the plastic can't hold up to the stress and enviroment. The controls on this Saitex are much smoother and the throttle is fantastic. The Saitex is a must for anyone who wants realistic Sim flying experience. You won't regret it.
Customer Review: Great Yoke and Throttle combo Summary: 5 Stars
Have had it about two weeks. Works great. No problems. Had to install drivers off disk for clock to work. Didn't install programming software so I can't comment on that. All the buttons and switches make controlling the various functions very convenient and they're easy to reprogram in FSX. The quandrant is great after trying to control throttle, mixture, and prop pitch with the joystick and mouse. Slight stickiness (as others have mentioned) in yoke operation, but I'm not a real world pilot and for all I know a real yoke feels the same. Adds much greater immersion than a joystick. I recommend you get it.
Customer Review: Overall fairly realistic controls Summary: 5 Stars
As a private pilot who flies mostly Cessna 172's, I was looking for a game and flight control system that resembled the real deal to keep current on flying techniques. The throttle quadrant works very well. The yoke also works well. My complaints are that the clamps are plastic and I'm worried about breaking and that very slight movements appear unresponsive. It is close enough for me to get this practice in and is definitely a great product if you are not a real pilot just looking to play with some simulators. I've used the yolk for both Microsoft FSX as well as Instrument Pilot Trainer 7.0.
Customer Review: Saitek flight yoke - excellent value! Summary: 5 Stars
After searching several local sources for a sim control yoke, I found the very best deal on Amazon. I saved over $75 from local bricks-n-mortar merchants, got free shipping, and a free bundled throttle quadrant (worth another $50). The Saitek yoke is truely hassle-free and very simply plug-and-play compatible with Microsoft FS X. I'm still trying to figure out some of the buttons, but I'd highly recommend this setup for anyone trying to enhance the FS experience. Additional note: I'm so happy with the Saitek yoke that I just purchased the Saitek flight headset to compliment my virtual cockpit.
Customer Review: Great Yoke Summary: 5 Stars
Boys and Girls, this product is A+, let me start by saying that the configuration was like no config at all , i just plugged it in and everything was working great, i did not have to configure it in flight simulator, everything was already configured and commands assigned to the buttons, it is sturdy and the pressure is great it does not feel flimsy at all, it makes flying real fun and great, i'm flying more than ever now all day, my wife had to call me away from the pc, so in conclusion thats my review, the product to me is great its the close u would get to the real cockpit.
