Digital Cameras Photo Reviews of Saitek PK24 Eclipse III Wired KeyboardCustomer Review: Best keyboard ever used or ever seen period. Summary: 5 Stars
There is no need to keep looking for a keyboard, you just found it.My keyboard is running on windows 7 64 Bit,just plugged it in and windows searched for and loaded the drivers, truly usb plug and play for windows seven.A little about the keyboard since i have found nothing to complain about, and i have been using computers ,from very early on.I have had this keyboard for about a week, the keys feel like a laptop, nice smooth easy touch ,on all my keyboards up to this point, i would hit double keys a lot ,since i have large hands, that has not happened even the first time with this board. The built in audio and video connections, are really nice.Really simple to push the soft touch built in buttons, that operate the features, of the different lighting colors, the brightness of the display, and the audio touch volume controls. It has also six side mounted soft touch keyboard buttons, on both sides ,that control internet fearures media features calculator sleep and so on.To me in a non perfect world ,i really dont know if its possiable to find a more perfect keyboard. My uses for the board are of couse internet use, media use,and mainly the lighting itself of the keyboard.I am a disabled Marine Veteran. and i use the keyboard with a optional usb extension cable which saves on bying batteries ,so i can use my board in my recliner, since this is where. i spend most of my time due to my disabilities.A lot of my use is in low light ,i use my 55inch Sony Bravia hdtv lcd for my computer monitor,my close up eye vision is useless without my glasses so, the backlighting is truly a God send for me.Where before with a non lit keyboard even with my glasses, my headaches from previous eye strain ,are a thing of the past. With the differnt colors of ,red, blue, purple, pink, and and several brightness levels ,this keyboard is bright enoung even in full light, the lighted keyboard helps me so much i never turn the lighting off ,unless i leave my computer for a short or lenghly time. Then all you have to do is hit the built in easy touch lightbulb icon to turn the backlighting off, when ready to return just simply lightly touch the lightbulb icon ,and it returns to the exact color and brightness you were using.I would truly buy, another if i needed another one, there would be no need for me to even go to the internet and do any searching, for a different board, since this one is really perfect for my use. When i purchase anything i do a more than usual very lengthly investigation into any product i purchase,i have to stretch my dollar,so when i say i search its probably more than the average person, anyway these are my thoughts on this keyboard ,hope it helps someone ,it is truly a perfect board for me. God Bless All.
