Digital Cameras Photo Reviews of Saitek Eclipse Keyboard ( PZ30AU )Customer Review: Great Keyboard Summary: 5 Stars
My wife originally got me the Gamer's keyboard directly from Saitek. I have no use for the extra keypad, so I exchanged it for the Eclipse with no problems. The customer service was a bit slow in responding to my initial e-mail, but they exchanged it no questions asked. This keyboard is great- no more peering down to see the keys when I'm playing various games in the dark (F.E.A.R!!). Being able to switch among three lighted modes is helpful, especially for my wife who says one of the modes could give her a migraine. It doesn't have any of those fancy extra keys that my logitech had to access a webcam or whatnot, but I never used those anyway!
Customer Review: Great Keyboard Summary: 5 Stars
This keyboard is a dream. Keys are not as tall as most keyboards and easy to press and the board can sit completely flat which is good for your wrists and fingers. I am glad that I bought this keyboard, it plugs into an open USB port and and does not use any software to use. The keyboard has four addtional keys that let you, Mute, Turn up, Turn down,(the volume) and adjust the backlight for the keys. the greatest thing about this keyboard in my opinion is the backlight on the keyboard. The keys are lit up from underneath as well not just around the keys as seen in the pictures. I love this keyboard. And it's really quite, it looks really cool to.
Customer Review: It's exactly what I was looking to get. Summary: 5 Stars
The Saitek Eclipse is exactly the keyboard I was looking to buy. I wanted a sturdy keyboard that was comfortable to type on and had backlighting. I did not want a bunch of extra buttons I'd never use but would have to pay for anyway. It's plenty bright enough to read all the buttons in the dark, so the backlighting isn't worthless like it is on some cheaper backlit keyboards. However, without all the extra gaming buttons all over it, it still has a lower cost than other good quality backlit boards. If you're looking for a reliable and comfortable backlit keyboard without extra buttons you don't need, this is the product you need to buy.

I was trying to decide on a new keyboard,I was looking for a gaming keyboard that had blue backlighting to match my tower, and when I saw this for only 32 bucks I figured if I didnt like it Im only out 32 dollars, I am so glad I bought this keyboard, it looks great, the lighting works really well in the dark-it just looks awesome all lit up,it has a very nice keystroke, as others have mentioned it is some times hard to see the keys very clearly when looking down at an angle, but you can still make them out and if you know how to type a little its fine, all and all its a great keyboard and for the price you cant go wrong.

I bought this KB when my Gateway gave up, about a month ago.
The keys have a very good feel to them and just the right amount of pressure.
The backlighting is really a positive feature.
My KB rests on a lower shelf, so that it does not get a lot of light from the monitor, so now the keys are always easy to see, and I can just sit down and start typing without needing to turn the light on.
It doesn't have any extra buttons, like internet or sleep, but my PC at work had them, and I used them exactly zero times, so I don't miss them at all.
All and all, a good purchase so far.
