I have the blue version also, I recently purchase the red one. For me this is great becuase the computer I use for games is in a dimely lit room, sometime with only the TV and the computer on. So I struggle constantly to see the letters on the keys. Not only does this keyboard look cool, I can see the keys! I wish I had thought to look for one of these a long time ago. You can also adjust the brightness of the light.

This is a great keyboard to work with. The keys are quiet, much quieter than my old keyboard, and are easy to work on. One of the main reasons I got this keyboard was the back light color. Finding a red keyboard to match my computer is tough, but this one fit the bill. It's bright enough to see during the day and has a dimmer so you can turn the light down or off. This is one keyboard I will be keeping for a long, long time.Customer Review: An individual

Saitek Eclipse's individuality is proven by a full sized layout unlike most other similar keyboards, distinct key illumination which lite up each key the whole way through, and stealth-like typing that makes this powerful and convenient keyboard a seller. The Saitek Eclipse Backlit keyboard is awesome. Most of my gaming is done at night in a darkened room. I am not a touch typist, so having the keys light up is fantastic. I play Call of Duty 4 and my scores have doubled since I got the keyboard. The keys are soft and work well on none gaming functions as well. I've seen the blue-lit keyboard in action, and the red-lit keys are definitely the way to go.Customer Review: BeYond Cooool!

I ordered the Red Backlit Eclipse on Thursday Oct 5 and got it Monday Oct 8 using the Amazon Prime Free Trial {Very much worth it},All I can say is this is by far the best keyboard I've ever used, it works exactly as advertised and I'm glad I read all the good reviews on amazon and went ahead and bought it.
