It really doesn't get much easier or better than this for the price. I bought this at a scant $10 and is worth every penny, even the $5 shipping.
It's literally as simple as putting the hard drive in the enclosure, putting two screws in (with tiny magnetic screwdriver included! Worth $10 alone!) to secure rear plate that houses the SATA connections and plugging in USB. It even comes with a small leather carry bag!
Works instantly, uses one USB connection for power and data, both for USB 2.0. It works without the driver disc (assuming you have a recent operating system, XP still wouldn't have problems with this).
Thus far it has 100% reliability, I was able to partition and use my hard drive without a single hitch and works every bit as good as a comparable product costing $60 or more.
The only semi-issue is if you're a big ventilation buff, it has no fans or air holes to speak of, so the drive will get quite warm when under heavy use, but just being plugged in and on with occasional use, warm to the touch/lukewarm is as hot as it gets.
The blue LED is VERY, VERY bright, it will temporarily blind you if you look straight at it, but then again, that's a silly scenario.
Overall, this is a fantastic "does exactly what you need it to" product. Has 100% compatibility (I use it for media purposes with my Nintendo Wii with no issues), and absolutely delivers. Don't hesitate to buy this!
