I installed this camera at the entrance of my elderly mother's home. There have been numerous break-ins in the neighborhood. The camera is visible from the inside. The red light gives the impression of camera activity and the sticker is visible as well. Thieves will not want to stick around to see if it is real, they will move on the next house. This is well worth the investment. A good deterrent.

This "camera" looks extremely realistic. The exterior is brushed aluminum and it is fairly heavy. The mounting screws (included) are good sized and enough to hold it in place. The camera swivels, and you can point it pretty much wherever you want.
All in all, it looks exactly like a "real" camera and as a cost effective deterrent, it is worth every penny. I plan on ordering at least 2 more.

I'd been having trouble with vandalism on my parking lot recently so decided to give these a whirl. Very easy to put up and they definately have worked as I've not had an incident since. I would recommend them for anyone who wants to deter the common thief before becoming a victim. First things first - This is not a low quality plastic toy camera. This has considerable heft and substance with a very realistic look and feel. Very happy with this purchase. Easy to set up (battery operated light) and install. Not sure the light is really even necessary given the realism of the housing - but a nice bonus.Customer Review: Looks authentic

Picked these up for a back gate. Combined it with a "24 Hour Video Surveillance" sign. It looks very authentic and even has a small red LED. It's battery operated but lasts a long time due to the low power consumption of the LED. It's also very sturdy. No complaints at all.
