Very good value for this tripod. I am using it for multiple purposes. I have already tried it on all 3 with great success. I use it with our digital camera and we took a great family picture. The dvd video camera we have attaches easily and we took very good film of some softball games already, very steady and easy to set up. The third use is for my chronograph when working up handloads for my rifles and it works great especially with the levels. I would definitely recommend this product for anyone at this great price. The extra quick mount base is very convenient and it is left with the video camera so we always have it available at a moments notice.
Description of Sunpak 6601UT Tripod with Extra Quick-Release Mounting Plate
With a comfortable full working height of 58.3", and a minimum operating height of 20.3", the 6601UT features a quick-release platform with an integral bubble level, and a second circular bubble level at the critical tripod collar for precise camera/tripod alignment. Also standard with the 6601UT is a precision-geared center column, accessory 1/4 x 20 mounting stud on the center column, and retractable spiked feet.
