We needed to buy another HDMI cable because we got another HD TV (from Amazon, of course!) and we refuse to pay the ridiculous Monster prices. Switching from whatever rudimentary set-up my husband had temporarily hooked up to the HDMI made an enormous difference in the quality of the picture, and if Monster brand would be any better, we wouldn't even know.Customer Review: Great Purchase

I am using this cable between my Samsung DVD player and my new Samsung LCD 46" TV Set and with it we can see the movies and the audio as we were in the cinema. Besides the quantity of cables to be plug in the back side of the TV Set was reduced in quantity and in weight which is important in my case because I placed it on upper front wall of my bed room.Customer Review: A big money saver

I purchased the StarTech cable with the idea that I would not lose much if it did not perform and I could save a lot if it did. I am completely satisfied and extremely happy about the money I saved. Monster and all these other companies would have you believe that if you don't spend at least $60 on an HDMI cable, you are not going to have good picture. I received 2 of these cables for $9 each and they perform perfectly well. I have one hooked to a DirecTV HD DVR and the other hooked to my PS3 and the picture on both is stunning.Customer Review: Good product at5 a good price

It never ceases to amaze me as to how much the big box stores charge for cables HDMI or other types, when you can get the same quality for a lot less at this source. A popular magazine did a study and found no difference between cheap cable and the more expensive (think five or six times or more) cables. Save money and buy here!
