After a visit to my local R@dio Shack - and being horrified at the prices being charged for HDMI cables, I quickly logged on to Amazon, and found these reasonably priced cables.
They are doing a bang-up job, and at literally 1/5th the price the other store wanted for cables of the same length.
Do yourseld a favor and buy these cables, and don't darken the door of that other store (at least for cables!).

These HDMI cables have been working perfectly with my Panasonic plasma, Verizon FIOS set top box, Yamaha receiver, and HP Pavilion laptop since the beginning of January 2008. It's hard to believe these cables work as well as the much more expensive (and shorter) cables retail stores sell, but that does indeed seem to be the case :-)
5/10: I have used the first 3 I bought and just bought 2 more.

After shopping feverishly for a reasonably priced HDMI cable, I found this on Amazon.com. The difference in prices between here and every other cable I found made this purchase a no-brainer. It was well worth paying a total of $13 (which includes shipping) and waiting all of 4 days to receive it as opposed to paying $70 - $100 at a local store. As other reviewers have confirmed, these cables work just as well as the expensive ones. I am using them for my Pioneer DVD player and DirectTV H20 satellite box to my 58" Samsung 1080p plasma. The picture quality is fantastic. These 15' cables are 1/10th the price of 6' cables at my local Best Buy. Digital is digital, so it makes no difference. After looking at the popular Big Box retail stores for HDMI cords and seeing their pricing I checked Amazon. I have made 90% of my technology purchases with Amazon ever since. The cable was a tenth of the price of shorter cables offered. The cable works great, clear picture and sound conversion. You can't go wrong and who doesn't like saving a ton of money?
