Digital Cameras Photo Reviews of StarTech 18in SATA to Right Angle SATA Serial ATA Cable (SATA18RA1)Customer Review: Simple cable, inexpensive, works well Summary: 5 Stars
If you order direct from Amazon ("Amazon.com, LLC") and not CiTi Electronics or anyone else and you have a PO Box, ship to your PO Box. It's shipped by USPS and was delivered to my mailbox, not front door (despite the unnecessarily large box).
Also worth noting is that in an earlier review someone noted his wasn't a 90-degree connector; maybe order direct from Amazon to be sure you get the exact product featured on this page.
Customer Review: it's a sata cable.. Summary: 5 Stars
it does what it's supposed to. I used it to hook up my ps3 hard drive to my computer, and now it's hooked up to my 1.5 TB hard drive. works perfectly fine. My case has the HDD bays VERY close to the side of the case...so this worked perfectly. came in a zipped up baggie in a bubble envelope, and nothing was wrong with it. came really quick also. great deal. almost paid $10 for one over at newegg. this does the job just fine.
Customer Review: 90 degree cable in sensible packaging Summary: 5 Stars
Well constructed 90 degree cable (on one end) packaged in a small zip top bag.
The cable is just a basic cable. The thing I really appreciate about this is that the packing makes sense for the product. I bought a few extras on hand so the next time I needed one I did not have to get gouged at a brick and mortar store. This simple packing allows for easy storage without a lot of extra bulk.
Customer Review: It's a cable, it works. Summary: 5 Stars
I have three requirements when purchasing a cable:
1) Does it fit snugly?
2) Does it pass data?
3) Is it of proper length?
This cable has a 90-degree angle connector on one end and straight end on the other. Cable fits snugly in the drive and in the motherboard, it passes data along, it's of proper length. All requirements met.
Customer Review: Work Just Fine! Summary: 5 Stars
I have 7 hard drives in my home-built i7 rig, running Win 7 64-bit on an EVGA X58 mobo. Most drives are WD Blacks, except for a Raptor and two RE3s in RAID0. bought a few of these cables and the work exactly the same as the cables that came with my motherboard. It seems crazy to spend and more than a few bucks for a standard Sata cable. These work great. Go for it.
