Hello All,
Note that this SATA data cable has the "L" type connector on both ends, and one connector is right-angled whereas the other is a straight connector. Check your device and motherboard's interface connector types before ordering. I first tried using it with the right-angled connector to the motherboard interface but it would not clear an electronic component, so I switched it around. Then, the right-angled connector attached to the rear of the SATA DVD drive would not clear the Ultra-IDE DVD drive installed beneath it (the SATA drive is shorter than the IDE drive by about 3/4"). So, I switched the locations of the DVD drives and the problem was solved. In the future, I will order straight connectors on both ends... Good luck!

As the title suggests. However, be mindful of where you're using the cable in your computer. The right angle end of the SATA cable is built in a way where the cable will be directed downwards when inserted properly. So theoretically, if you're inserting the right angle end of the cable into a hard drive that's placed in the bottom of your computer and faces the computer cover (such as the Dell XPS 420), then the cable will need to loop upwards towards the other SATA insert, which will create tension to the wiring when placing the cover back in place. That's not the manufacturer's fault, of course, but again, be careful.Customer Review: Great Cables, shipping bad..

The cables are great, the 90 degree angle allows them to fit in my case better. My HDD mounts with the back toward the door so having the cable angle down keeps it out of the way of my door.
The shipping was terrible. I ordered these from Amazon because of normally fast shipping. When I ordered them, the delivery date was 10 days away. I got other cables since that was too far away from when I needed them. They were delivered in 14 days. I could have walked them here from where they were shipped. Maybe they did...

I've been using this since late February of this year (2011). Both ends of the cable fit into their respective parts perfectly, i.e., the motherboard and the SATA drive.
One good feature this cable has is its ability to fit its right-angle end onto the SATA drive using some sort of clip that makes it easy to attach to the drive without it slipping. And the clip makes it easy to remove the cable from the drive without having to use force - just press down on the clip and it's on & off.

This proved to be a perfect cable for my Dell. I needed a straight connector and also a 90-degree connector (90-degree because the disks sit so close to the removable side panel-which may not be true of other computers). The length was appropriate too because I could attach it out of the way of the main open area over the motherboard. The color makes it stand out. Can't complain about the price either!
