I bought this converter for a trip to Ukraine and France because I needed a grounded 3 prong for my laptop. It worked perfectly. It is a bit heavier than my 2 prong converter but it was great. I liked it enough to buy one for my parents. I used it to charge my phone, camera battery and laptop. It is NOT meant for high wattage things like hair dryers, straighteners, etc...Customer Review: great customer service and product

I received the product in a timely matter and it worked really well. After a few days of use my friend accidentally plugged in something with too high a voltage and fried it. I have been using this product in Australia for half a year by now, for my camera battery charger, sawing machine, printer/scanner, nintendo wii, almost everything. Perfect for electronics (I used it for my laptop and my Blackberry)! I left it plugged in for several weeks with no overheating issues. Bought this before moving to Sweden for a long term assignment. Have had no problems. I've used it for my laptop (before deciding to use a simple plug converter), for recharging batteries and for recharging my Oral-B toothbrush. The long cord attached is really useful!
