After ordering and attempting to set up my Western Digital My Book AV DVR Expander, I found that my Tivo would not start up. I researched the problem on the forums and found many people alluding to this cable. It worked. Some other eSATA cables don't work with TiVo Series 3 machines because their connectors are too fat and stubby to fit the TiVo's recessed eSATA socket. It works fine except it easily gets diconnected from the DVR. This renders all the video episodes taped on our DVR expander unvaliable for viewing. I have had to reboot the DVR expander twice already since I bought it.
