I'm blown away buy the quality of the product when considering the price! Don't see how they do it considering it's made in china and shipped here to Washington state. Now about the product: I don't use it every day or commercially, so it appears that the product will last some time. The slide down round magnifier may slip later after some use [according to other reviewers]; if that happens I will remove the screw and insert a star or other lock washer on the screw and if needed apply some quality plastic glue to the end of the screw threads prior to reinserting the screw. IF you do don't tighten the screw down too tight. The quality of the optics is first rate for my use; didn't realize it from the advertisement but there are two main magnifiers that flip up and down [in and out of view]in case one would like to use some combination of the three magnifications. The light transmission, clarity, and color rendition of the plastic lens is outstanding considering the price. The materials used in the rest of the product are typically some unknown plastic that appear to be of reasonable quality? note: I don't detect a chemical odor coming from the plastic.Customer Review: Crazy Good for the Money

In case you overlooked it, this thing has two full width lenses: one fixed and one that flips down from the inside. Then it has the tiny round one mounted on the screw. The optical performance is fine. the band that goes around your head is velcro adjustable and the entire front optical assembly flips up and down so that you don't have to take it on and off your head constantly.
With both of the full width lenses in play, you get tremendous magnification and with the round lens down too, it's like a weak microscope.
The lights work well, and they're LED, so they shouldn't eat batteries. They're tilted inward to meet in the middle on your subject.
If you take the free shipping option, this thing is practically free. Even better, if you look this gift horse in the mouth, you'll be pleasantly surprised.

I have no other magnifier glasses to compare with, but these work perfectly for my purposes - close up hobby work, repairing eye glasses, repairing very small items, etc. The LED "headlights" really work. The magnification of either power allows me to get a clear, close view. (I haven't needed the eye loop - and it has not fallen loose. If it does, I'll tighten it's screw!) The headband is comfortable, the velcro makes it easy to adjust. The price was unbelieveable! With no shipping! How do they do that?! Maybe I'll buy another one.

Very versatile product that aboslutely does what is is supposed to do. Seems deceptively flimsy but is actually quite durable. I use it for doing fine detail work on my antique Corvette and have found it to be invaluable. I do not think that you can get a better illuminated magnifier for such a small price.Customer Review: I wish it weren't made in China...

My only complaint with this device is that it is made in China. I find it useful for for a variety of tasks, and especially handy for older folks whose eyesight isn't as good as it once was. I use this thing all the time - great selection of magnifications, and the lights are helpful, too.
