Digital Cameras Photo Reviews of SE Battery Tester (AAA, AA, C, D, and 9 Volt)Customer Review: Battery Tester... Cheap money, GREAT WORK! Summary: 5 Stars
Again, Amazon... THANKS! Here is a product that costs basically pennies. It was less than $4. I can now check all of my batteries before I even put them in something... if they're weak, toss 'em or if rechargeables, I'll know to juice 'em up. Too many times I've thrown away a toy or something thinking something is wrong with it after trying 3 or 4 different batteries, when it turned out 1 or 2 batteries were dead so the others couldn't pull enough juice to run it. Now, in a second I can pop in a battery, know if it's good or not. FOUR BUCKS?? This thing is like your kids... you can't beat it!
LOL
Got batteries? Get this tester!!

Customer Review: Works Great Summary: 5 Stars
This is a very good product. I would agree that it feels a bit flimsy, but it works and hasn't fallen apart. It's also fairly effective at matching battery strenghts for applications that require more than one battery.
The only critical comment I have is interpreting what is a good vs. bad battery. For example, a battery that does not work well in a flashlight (heavy load on battery) may work well in a wall clock(light load). So, before you toss out a battery because it measures in the red area of the scale, test it in a clock, or similar device.
Customer Review: No more guessing if the batteries are dead Summary: 5 Stars
I'm rarely inspired to write a review, but this inexpensive little piece of plastic has improved the quality of my life. No more swapping out batteries with working flashlights or Wii controllers or whatnot to see if they're truly dead. And I've developed a nice green system around it: all batteries that flunk the test are put into a bag that periodically gets emptied at a battery recycling collection spot.
One more thing... FindingKing promised a fast delivery date and the package arrived even sooner than that. And shipping was free. Well done!
Customer Review: Inexpensive battery tester, literally for all sizes! Summary: 5 Stars
Unit works as advertised, nice meter let me test out all my batteries I had stored in a box. Much better than testing them using a multimeter!!
Only thing to remember is all the terminals must be facing the same way, as printed on the meter itself. The only exception is coin cell batteries! flip em upside down! Don't meter them for too long or you'll rapidly drain a good portion of their life away. I thought the instructions were kidding about it at first but it isn't a joke, you can literally watch the needle going down lower and lower.
Customer Review: Straightforward... Summary: 5 Stars
Tester seems to work as described. Not rocket science. Seems to accept and read full range of batteries. I don't know if the tester would survive too many drops from a tabletop; it's not THAT solidly built. But it seems durable enough. Also, I've tested batteries with it that tested fine, but then when put into more-sensitive equipment like smoke alarms, the alarms started making their "low battery" indications. So, not sure how accurate it is, BUT, it DOES PAY for itself in terms of not throwing out batteries that can still be used.
