I purchased this camera because I was going on a caribbean cruise. It exceeded my expectations in almost every way. The waterproof feature was outstanding and we got many videos and pictures we could never have gotten otherwise. The video editing software that came in the box was very helpful as well to edit the movies and make something everyone can enjoy. If there was one negative thing I had to say about it, I would say the battery power doesn't last as long as I hoped because I used it so often. I spent a lot of time on the water paddle boarding and was looking for an inexpensive waterproof video camera. This one fits the bill. Takes great pictures and easy to use and download. Only negative comments would be that it records in MP4 format and MicroSoft's MovieMaker does not use MP4. Had to download a format converter. The "gun" design is easy to use from land, but a bit hard to keep steady when surfing. Other than that, a great camera for the money. Also, it does NOT float so recommend buying a floatable strap.Customer Review: must have for all water sports

I have a 3K Sony VX2000 with a 2K water housing and the video image from the Exacti actually compares to the Sony, with tons more portability and much less set up. The Mpg4 video and the 8 megapixel stills are perfect for any home type images or uploads to youtube. Make sure you rinse the camera off well, especially at the joint where the viewfinder flips out after each use. You can shoot all day with three batteries and an 8 gig card. I love this camera! I bought it for white water rafting, and couldn't be happier. It's super easy to operate with one hand, allowing you to hold on to the raft with the other hand. Video quality is amazing for the price, and it's very durable. I bought a kayak paddle leash to attach it to the raft, just in case it droped overboard, since it is only waterproof to 5 feet. I went through 4 batteries on a 9 day raft trip, so buy a couple back-ups if you won't be near an outlet for recharging.Customer Review: Funloving memory-catcher.

Best camcorder I ever bought. Used it over & over on vacation in FL. Takes great video clips underwater and love the fact it can zoom in/out during recording. Holds up great in water and even the still shots are good quality. No complaints yet & I've had it for 2 yrs. Makes vacationing much more fun since it's hardy and doesn't need a lot of TLC. Purchased extra battery to make sure we don't miss a moment. I'd buy this camera all over again. Awesome deal for what it can do.
