Pros:
-Good Pictures during sunshine
-Video is good only in bright lighting
-Comfortable in hand
-Battery life is awesome, and I love the sleep/ power save feature
-Face chaser is neat
Cons:
-Video sucks in low light, but you get what you pay for
-The menu interface is weird to navigate through
-Battery compartment gets a little hot when you use it for a long time

All in all it's a great camera, I already own a video camera and nice camera for pictures. Main purpose of this camera is purely for taking pictures on outdoor activities and watersports. For that purpose it outshines anything in it's price range. SUPER COMPACT, love this camera. No issues with it yet!

Product looks pretty cool with an affordable price. My major interest about this product is the waterproof feature. Beside, the operation is very very simple.
The thing I don't like much about this camera is the battery slot where the battery lock locates in a position that makes it difficult to remove the battery. Also, inserting battery to an incorrect position can be done which actually does not cause any damage but it needs to reopen and reinsert it again.
Image and video captures are great for home users. The great thing is now I am no more worry about taking pictures in the beach, under the rain, and/or swimming pool. P.S. I like the color too, it makes the camera looks much better.

I got the Xacti VPC-E2 when our old mini-DV camera stopped working. The Xacti is very easy to use and the picture quality is better than that of our old camera. It's so small that we take it everywhere. I like the waterproof feature because we can use it outside even in the snow or rain. I would recommend purchasing an extra battery because the one that comes with it lasts only about an hour. I like how easy it is to transfer the files to our computer. I downloaded a free MP4 player from the internet and now I can just click on the files to play them. This is an amazing camcorder as well as a camera. Two in one. No more taking a camera and a Camcorder. Easy to use, just has lots of options that you need to take the time to read, but after that, watch out. Videos and Photos---all in one. Easy to download onto your computer as well as share with other friends and family. And it's small. Fits right in your purse or pocket for men :D. The only thing I would suggest if you are using it all day, is to have a back up battery for it. Ours ran out and I didn't have a backup and was disappointed. Pocket sized waterproof camcorder/camera with shock proof sd memory and nearly instant on... Too good to be true I thought. Try to take it away from me!!!! We do alot of boating and beach weekends, underwater shooting is lots of fun!! You even get muffled stereo sound underwater, the kids can't stop laughing at themselves. Picture stablizer works well on moving boat to smooth things out. Adobe Premier editing software is realy nice and not a starter version. Stills are as good as my 10mp Sony camera, low light shots suffer a little, as do most afordable digital cameras.
