Digital Cameras Photo Reviews of Sanyo Eneloop AAA NiMH Pre-Charged Rechargeable Batteries (4 Pack)Customer Review: Low Discharge is the ONLY way to go! Summary: 5 Stars
Once I figured out why all my NiMH (non-low discharge) batteries were dead even though I charged them, I converted entirely to Low Discharge. I have both the Sanyo Eneloop and Imedion. Both work the same way. They hold a charge like an alkaline; no more dead batteries sitting around. I use the full featured Maha battery charger to ensure that they are getting the right charge. If you have more than 10-15 batteries, I would invest in a digital read-out battery charger...the cheaper ones just don't work properly.
Converting to all NiMH Low Discharge will cost a bit of money in the beginning, but you will save a ton down the road, not to mention keeping harmful chemicals out of a landfill.
Customer Review: Best rechargable batteries on earth Summary: 5 Stars
Eneloop rechargable batteries are the only ones I know of that will maintain their charge on the shelf for a year or more. Most previous rechargables always seem to be dead when you need them. You always have to stop what you are doing and wait for a set to recharge before continuing.
This product finally makes "going green" with batteries a sensable alternative.
The one and only problem I have with this product is the availability. One often has to search high and low to find a retailer that sells them.
You can always find them on the internet, but often "shipping and handling" costs make an already premium priced product less attractive.

Customer Review: perfect Summary: 5 Stars
long battery life!! the long lasting battery life makes it's capacity worth a while. Unlike all other AA rechargeable, although some of them marked 2700mah, but you are actually getting less than what you are using because charges often fade out by time. For example, I have a set of Panasonic 2600mah AA, they often allow me more than 700+ of shots on my digital camera. However, if I fully charged them, and use them 2 days after I've charged, I often only getting around 500+ shots.
On the other hand, eneloop allows me constant 700+ shoots every charge. Very well done technology. Now! What if we have eneloop batteries on our electric cars? that would be awesome!!!
Customer Review: Great Rechargeable Batteries Summary: 5 Stars
Sanyo's "eneloop" rechargeable batteries are everything they are advertised to be. The come fully charged and ready to use. I alternate two sets of AA eneloops in my multi-function remote control, and they have lasted for well over 300 charges each without any problems. I also alternate two sets of AAA eneloops in my cordless headphones. I use them six to eight hours a day and they last over two full days before I need to recharge them. They charge up relatively quickly and hold the charge well. I am very satisified with them. At this point it's the only rechargeable battery I use when I have a choice. I don't think you can go wrong using this product.
Customer Review: Its always ready! Summary: 5 Stars
I mainly use these AAA batteries for high powered led flashlights. The main advantage of these batteries over the competition is that they can hold their charge for a long long time. Sanyo claims that the batteries will hold their charge for a year at 85% capacity but I don't think that I will be putting them to the test. I can use up a set of batteries for my flashlight in about two weeks time and then I would replace them with the ones I charged two weeks ago and they are as of full charge. I can't say the same about the other rechargables.
These are great, don't have to worry if they still have a charge or not.
