Digital Cameras Photo Reviews of Sanyo Eneloop AAA NiMH Pre-Charged Rechargeable Batteries (4 Pack)Customer Review: We own 84 of these batteries and think they are great! Summary: 5 Stars
Our business requires AA batteries in cameras used day after day. This product is wonderful and we have replaced all AA batteries for business and home use with the eneloops. Recharging is fast and is required much less frequently than out dated old fashioned conventional rechargeable batteries. We have found in the past that traditional rechargeable batties have blown up our rechargers and lose the recharge very quickly. Eneloops have sat in our car, charged, for weeks and the charge remains great and we have not lost a recharger yet. We started using them about a year ago and we wouldn't take a conventional system if it we given to us for free. Thanks for the great product. (No we don't know anyone who works for the company or where the company is located.)
Customer Review: These are simply Amazing! Summary: 5 Stars
I have been using NiCD / NiMH rechargeable cells for many years now. Till now I always had to keep a stock of Alkalines for devices such as wall clocks, TV remotes etc. with low current drainage where batteries typcially lasts for 6 - 12 months. The standard NiMH cells do not retain charge for more than a few weeks / months at best, and hence cannot be used for such applications.
Then I discovered the Eneloops - they are simply amazing. Once charged, they last for months and months. Over a period of time I have replaced almost all the Alkaline batteries at home in remotes and clocks with these cells. They work beautifully and I am happy to have done my part in reduced polluting the earth with discharged alakaline cells ...
Customer Review: You get a lot in a tiny little package Summary: 5 Stars
I have three (3) sets of Sanyo Eneloop AA four-pack batteries, and now a four-pack of AAA. I have found that the are perfect for digital cameras, remote controls, and many of my child's toys and games. The best part has been the ability to easily and consistently recharge all of them and reuse over-and-over. If you are not using some form of rechargeable for your most used batteries (AA and AAA, maybe 9V) then take a long look at Sanyo. They have been in the business a long time.
The only downside is that some devices may show a low battery indicator due to the difference in voltage (1.5V versus 1.2V). However, they will work just fine. Be sure to get a quality 'smart' charger in order to protect your investment.
Customer Review: Power, Longevity and Dependability Summary: 5 Stars
This is my second order of Eneloop Rechargeable Batteries and they are as steady as the first batch. What could possibly be written about a AA battery that has not been written before...? Well, it would depend on their use, what type of power requirements that are needed and how long they perform. So far, they have not let me down and owning a professional film production company, whose reputation depends on those technical things, yes, even AA batteries, in some cases, this could make or break an hour or day of shooting. They recharge in an acceptable amount of time, depending, of course, on the charger and the drain that was put on them. In retrospect, I am pleased I purchased them and will purchase more in the very near future.
Customer Review: The best NiMH rechargeables Summary: 5 Stars
These batteries, as well as the Rayovac Hybrids, are by far the best, most generally useful and convenient rechargeable NiMH batteries.
I will be replacing my entire collection of rechargeables with these as I'm able. With their exceptionally low self-discharge rate, they come precharged and have a shelf life that's nearly as good as alkaline batteries. Unlike regular NiMH batteries, they work great in low drain devices. I use them as the backup batteries in the transmitters for my kids' baby monitors, and only change them out once every 6 months.
Plus, they work just as well as regular NiMH in high-drain devices. These are as close to being the perfect rechargeable battery as I can imagine.
