Customer Review: Best Investment for the Money
Summary: 5 Stars

I was tired of using rechargables in my Nintendo Wii, and then when I went to use it, the batteries were dead! Switched to the Eneloops and they have held up just as long as alkalines. I've had a set in my remote for over two months and the battery indicator still shows three notches. (I don't use the Wii on a daily basis) They were also in the package 3 months before I took them out to use. I ordered another set for the Wii and Wii-Fit so I could keep a set charged and just put them away until needed, rather than having to recharge them and waiting. I've tried other rechargeable batteries including the Ray-O-Vac Hybrids and they don't hold up as long as the Eneloops. In fact the last time I charged my Ray-O-Vacs on my LaCrosse charger they would only charge up to 45% of their capacity, even using the refresh rate. Eneloops always show 98% to 100%. Amazon also had the best price.

Customer Review: Lasts long.
Summary: 5 Stars

At first I didn't see the difference between these and my previous Energizer rechargeable batteries. I mostly use them for the Wii, and I noticed that they lasted as long as my previous batteries. However, I forgot that I had power-draining accessories attached to the remote, so then I realized how much power these little suckers had, and how they preserve it after each charge.

I use the La Crosse Technology BC-9009 AlphaPower Battery Charger with these and the combination is great. The price for these batteries might initially seem steep, but because they preserve so much power after each charge, in the long run you'll be saving more money.

I now look for devices that require rechargeable batteries instead of coming with their built-in ones!

Customer Review: They're not JUST batteries
Summary: 5 Stars

After a lot of research I finally decided to switch from using non-rechargeable AA Lithium Ion batteries to the Eneloops to use in my Canon Speedlite 430EX II. I thought that rechargeable batteries wouldn't be able to handle the intense usage, but I only had to swap out the batteries once during a wedding where I shot almost 1,500 photos (flash used in almost every frame). These little guys have certainly lived up to their reputation! The only thing is I wish the charger came in the pack or was at least sold separately (without add'l batteries). I used my Energizer battery charger which I was afraid wouldn't work, but thankfully it did. I just don't know if over time it may reduce the total charge amount or somehow corrupt these batteries. I guess time will tell!

Customer Review: Long lasting, great for digital cameras
Summary: 5 Stars

These batteries are phenomenal for digital cameras, both because they are high capacity and long lasting. They do not lose charge over time like standard rechargeable NiMH batteries. For this reason, I have taken to using them all over the house, including in cordless mice, remote controls, and even a clock. They are suitable for use just about anywhere an alkaline battery would be, but unlike alkaline batteries, you can use them hundreds of times before throwing them away (or recycling them). The result is lots of money saved and far less waste.

I know this isn't relevant to the product itself, but as others have mentioned, Amazon seems to have made a habit out of sending open-box Eneloops to customers. My order arrived open (with the batteries scattered all over the box), though I decided to keep them since they seem to be in working order.

Customer Review: A lot of power for little $$
Summary: 5 Stars

I have several sets of these which I use for my digital camera and strobe, as well as other assorted electronics. These are about the best batteries in terms of runtime and mA capacity in their price range. I find it hard to run them dead, very consistent and solid performance. Best of all, you can charge them and leave them for up to 1 yr. and they will retain most of their charge, exactly when you go to grab them and they are needed NOW. I use a smart charger, the Maha Powerex Wizard One MH-C9000 Advanced Battery Charger and Analyzer to avoid improper charge cycles. They will still do fine without a special charger, but they will last longer if properly charged on individually monitored, controlled charging circuits.
