Digital Cameras Photo Reviews of Sanyo Eneloop AA NiMH Pre-Charged Rechargable Batteries with Charger - 4 Pack

Customer Review: Convenient and reliable
Summary: 5 Stars

I use these in my Canon 430EX II flash unit, and they work great. Recycle times are really quick. I don't know exactly how many shots a single charge is good for because the most I've done in a single session was around 400 shots and the batteries were still going strong.

Sanyo eneloop batteries lose their charge much more slowly than regular NiMH batteries, so I don't have to bother charging them again just before using them. This isn't an issue for those who shoot photos all the time, but I don't use my flash every day so this is a nice benefit.

The charger is reasonably fast. It takes 3 hours to charge 4 batteries. Chargers that are quicker than that usually put too much strain on the batteries and decrease their lifetime. It can also charge AAA batteries, which is nice.

Customer Review: Only rechageable batteries I'll ever buy
Summary: 5 Stars

I own an Olympus C-3000 digital camera, and found that regular batteries were inadequate, would drain completely after only a few photos. After reading the reviews on Amazon I decided to try Sanyo Eneloop batteries - now I am completely sold on them! They last about a month in my camera, even with the hundreds of pictures I take, and recharge in about six hours (I suspect they will keep their charge for months if I don't use the camera, but I use the camera frequently so I've never tried that). I also like the charger - green LEDs blink while the batteries charge, and stop blinking when the charge is complete. I was so happy with the batteries I bought another set for my dad's digital camera (also an Olympus C-3000). I would recommend these to anyone, despite the funny name they are the best!

Customer Review: Better than other NiMH batteries
Summary: 5 Stars

After three years of dealing with other rechargeable batteries and being disappointed with how quickly they went dead, I decided to try the Sanyo Eneloops, based on a recommendation from a friend.

I'm a professional photographer, and constantly need AA batteries for my Speedlite flash. Other NiMH batteries I've tried will run dead after being stored in my backpack for a couple of a weeks, and so they're not available when I need them. I started using alkaline again, but got tired of the expense.

When I tried the eneloops, they were exactly as advertised. Not only did they come precharged, but they'll sit quietly in my bag for weeks and stay charged. When I need my AAs, there they are. Dependable. Just like batteries should be.

Customer Review: Best rechargables I've used; these work very well.
Summary: 5 Stars

I use these with my Canon SX100 IS camera. I can typically use the camera pretty much all day on one set of two Eneloops, then swap to the second set as needed.

These are 2000maH batteries and, just as advertised, they hold their charge a very long time.

The charger has a nifty sliding cover and can charge 2 or 4 at the same time. It has a green LED that turns off when fully charged (a couple of hours). The charger also has folding power prongs so it is compact enough for travel.

I would recommend these as a superior alternative to the NiCad batteries and chargers sold at a higher price by the camera manufacturers.

I've used these for more than a year now and they keep going and going.....

Customer Review: This is the real deal!
Summary: 5 Stars

I bought some of these batteries an charger for my son toys and my tv remotes. I must say that my tv remote remain fully functional for almost a 9 months now without recharge!

Pros - These batteries remain fully charged for a long time.
They don't seem to deteriorate with constant recharge.
The capacity of 2,000 mAh is not a fictitious claim like other
brand batteries

Con - The rate at which the charger charge the batteries is quite slow, it take somewhere about 9hr to fully charge a set of four (4) completely drained AA 2,000 mAh sanyo batteries.

Overall this charger and battery are great value for you money.
