I got this because my APC Battery/surge protector for my PC was going to be too far for anything to be plugged in. Now all fits well and I can keep my Surge Protector closer to my pc/monitor/externalHDD/etc.
Also the way the plug is shaped, it would be bending the wire in a weird way that made me worried.
This wire is a perfect solution. I plan on buying the shorter version in a 5 pack so I can plug in my gadgets without taking up too much space on the wall and power strips.
