This is the third time I have bought a cable on Amazon, from multiple suppliers, that was less than a couple bucks (HDMI, DVI). Everytime I have gotten exactly what I expected: A cable that is not as heavy and insulated as the name brand ones but worked exactly as the more expensive cables. After I read a review that said "All that is going across these wires is a signal, nothing else", it made sense to me that I should not invest the money in a thicker, heavier cable.
This set is no different. I hooked this up to my iPod, ran it to a 6 year old stereo system (it had an Audio Video In), and for about two bucks I turned a previously useless, very nice stereo system, into a iPod dock that is better than systems ranging in upwards of 600$.
I turned it up as loud as it would go, and I had no distortion. The signal being delivered is analog. Why pay more for the type of delivery, when the end is always going to be the same?
If you are considering this, look no further. This is exactly what you want.
