I purchased this product to connect my Hoodman Loupe to my Cannon EOS 5D Mark 2. I returned it because it will not work without a Redrock Micro base. The instructions mention this but provides no information on how to attach to the camera or available models. The Redrock Micro website includes this accessory but provides not reference to usable baseplates. Not recommended unless you already have a Redrock Micro product.
