I had high hopes for this mouse. I ordered it for a Mac. It came with an installation CD but the mac software has no installer or seemingly any way to install it. I downloaded the latest from the internet which seemed to work. I went to the help button within the preference pane, and guess what, no actual help file installed! I emailed tech support, which was not easy to find on their website. 4 days-no response! I am just trying to get it to do what the mouse I have been using for the past 9 years could do, program the side buttons to do back and forward for internet browsing. Can't for the life of me figure it out, so I will probably go back to using USB overdrive, and the mouse does not feel the same with it. It has 7 buttons but I can't program them to do what I want so what is the point? The preference pane is also difficult to understand, and has some settings without any explanation of what they actually do. The mouse itself works ok and feels ok. I may send this one back.
