Digital Cameras Photo Reviews of Razer Lachesis 4000 dpi Laser Gaming Mouse (Banshee Blue)Customer Review: A decent start into gaming mice, but not so comfortable Summary: 5 Stars
Pros:
- very high range of speed; you can set the mouse speed much, much higher than on a traditional, non-gaming mouse.
- programmable buttons can be set to single keys or also to macros (a series of key presses and optional delays), which has come in handy in my own experience for using items in League of Legends as well as quickly compiling+running when programming in Eclipse.
- smooth texture
- blue LED lights look nice
- long cord (6 feet if I remember correctly)
Cons:
- it's far from the most comfortable mouse I've ever used. Unless you have small hands, expect this to be fairly uncomfortable.
- mouse buttons are quite loud when you click
Customer Review: Some annoyances but great mouse overall. Summary: 5 Stars
I have just received this mouse and I am really liking it. Actually, this is my second one, because the first one died after I installed new drivers. No problem. Amazon sent in a new one right away and I received it the next day - AMAZING, thank you Amazon. As for the mouse, I like the design, on the fly DPI adjustment and the lightning is seconds to none. Some of the things bug me though. It feels kind of weird in your hand. I have been using my previous mouse for 5 years, so I bet I will get used to this one as time goes on. Razer support is excellent. I called them and got a hold of a person within 2-3min. They were very helpful. Will just have to see how it holds up next to my previous mouse.
Customer Review: BEST MOUSE PERIOD!! highly reecommended Summary: 5 Stars
Best mouse i've ever had!,im an avid pc gamer and play well over 8 hrs. a day i need a mouse thats comfortable ,quick, and accurate... the razer lachesis mouse feels and looks really nice its great for both claw grips and resting your hand completely over it. the DPI is awesome and is really nice to be able to switch it back and forth. the mouse is very accurate ive actully noticed my perfomance in game increase. it goes great with my steal series 9hd gaming pad.the weight of the Lachesis feels superb. works outstanding with windows 7! remember this is coming from a gamer not you casual one...
MUST Review: Razer lachesis ups downs Summary: 5 Stars
the Razer Lachesis is the ultimate Fps (first Person Shooter) mouse.
UPs
'Complete customization of all keys
'4000 DPi
'custom polling rate(makes less response time)
'easy driver interface
'easy to clean
'allows perfect grip for both hands
Downs
'scripting tool causes only the script to be run rending the mouse useless while running the file
'doesn't work on all mouse pads
'needs excessively clean surface
'does not work with small hands (if i were 15 this mouse wouldn't fit my hand)
i would give this mouse a 4.5
Customer Review: Great buy Summary: 5 Stars
I was a little worried about buying an expensive mouse like this, that it wouldn't be worth it or that'd it have some flaws no one was mentioning. Well, it was worth it, and there are no 'hidden' flaws that I've come across. The software it comes with is really cool and it's completely customizable with profiles and what buttons for what games. It takes a little while to get use it to, but if you can rest your hand on it, rather than gripping it, it works like a charm. I also purchased the Razor Taranchula, which is the keyboard equivilant, and I've seriously up'd my game in FPS(Wolfenstein ET) and WoW. XD
