Digital Cameras Photo Reviews of Razer Exactmat with Exactrest Gaming Mouse Pad & Wrist Rest--BlackCustomer Review: I'll never use another mousepad Summary: 5 Stars
I have always used what I considered to be a pretty good mousepad for my mouse (Logitech G9) and never thought about switching. It was starting to peel and look bad though, so I saw this one had high reviews and purchased it.
From the second I placed my mouse on it, I couldn't believe the response I got from it. I honestly feel as if it doubled my mouse's DPI. I can barely use it now at the setting it's on (3200 DPI) due this mousepad! (I'm using the "smooth" side of the mousepad.)
The gel wrist rest is also a nice addition. I'm hoping it'll get rid of the perpetual redness I have on my wrist from my old one.
If you're a serious gamer, or someone who just wants to get the most out of your mouse, I highly recommend this mousepad. It's worth every dollar.
Customer Review: A little indulgent, but worth it. Summary: 5 Stars
I will admit, a mouse pad at this price point can seem to be a little on the extravagant side, but I can safely say that you will find it to be worth the price. You don't realize what a difference a simple mousepad can make until you try out one of these babies. The wrist rest offers excellent support, and the surface is as slick as ice for smooth scrolling. The only difficulty you may have is ensuring that you have enough desk space for this beast...it's about as tall as my logitech G15 keyboard with the wrist rest extended, and more than half as wide. It's a pretty significant chunk of real estate.
All told, if you spend more than 2 or 3 hours on the PC each day, and you occasionally notice your mousepad to be lacking, give one of these a try. It will truly make a difference.
Customer Review: I DIDN'T BUY IT FOR GAMING! Summary: 5 Stars
I just got the new 27" iMac and found that with the new mouse (which is awesome) I was limited only by my pathetic mousepad....I measured the range of motion that would really align well with the screen and found I needed something VERY large. This presented two problems:
1. Most large mousepads forgo a wrist rest
2. They are either too large, or made of crappy material
Luckily (thank you gamers) I discovered the advanced gamer mats as an option - but still needed a reasonable size and wrist rest.
This Razer had everything and even has a "flip side" (ingeniously, the wrist rest and surface are layered but not connected) to choose accuracy or speed.
Both are REMARKABLE - but I chose accuracy.
GREAT PRODUCT!
Customer Review: Best Mouse Pad I've Ever Owned Summary: 5 Stars
This is seriously the best mouse pad I have ever owned. True, I have been getting by by using generic cheap mouse pads. But this definitely shows that the price is worth it.
The surface is ENORMOUS. It's about as long as my 15" laptop! The surface is also what you're really paying for. Precision and accuracy. The surface is very good for my Logitech G5 mouse. I bought this mouse pad to replace my clunky old one that would snag my mouse every now and then, especially when playing FPS games. This mouse pad is so smooth and seemless. I never have to worry about friction. It almost feels like it's gliding on ice... The wrist rest is also a nice touch and very uncomfortable.
Highly recommended for the price!
Customer Review: Razer exactMat/wrist rest review Summary: 5 Stars
This combination makes a perfect addition to my Razer gaming mouse. The exactMat is more than twice as big as regular mouse pads. It is made of anodized aluminum and each side has a different texture; one set up to facilitate speed and the other to aid control. Both do their jobs very well. The matching wrist rest relieves the pressure on your wrist making it possible to use your mouse without discomfort for extended periods of time. Both products are made out of premium materials and I think they will last a very long time.
I highly recommend these products for anyone who uses a mouse extensiely for gaming or other activities.
